stumbled upon these today and didnt now what to think of them or if anyone else on here had seen them.......

I saw them on a 240 one day when I was leaving work. They're okay, but I wouldn't consider them VIP like the site does.

i'm all for cheap and easy mods, but come on... don't defend the sportmax. i got like 10 posts deleted when i was arguing with a guy about the quality of sportmaxx vs. ANYTHING else. i'd rock rotas before sportmax :saiyancrunks:

haha I remember when I first saw these at SEMA years ago. 
still feel the same way about them ..... no.
but not everybody can afford real Fab's or Works so for those that cant these will do, save a few more $$$$$ and get the real deal or some used wheels for around the same price maybe a lil bit more.

tbh, some sportmax wheels have a place.  the sportmax 002 or 501 for example, as well as even the konig rewinds, and a lot more.  cheap, smallerish wheels, with an old-school feel that work GREAT on smaller/lighter cars likes ae86s, miatas, s13s, whatever you want, that get TRACKED>  not even just tracked but specifically those that are getting drifted a lot.  the wheels are cheap, so if you fuck them up (which inevitably happens) you're not destroying a rare legit set of work equip 01s or the like.

im very much a proponent of the multiple set theory, 1 or 2 baller sets of LEGIT wheels for street use, and a set or two of cheap as crap, whatever brand off wheels for you to fuck up without worry.
