what programs do ya use to DL music, mp3, etc...

It's true, but sometimes trying to get the old stuff, that doesn't work out too well.

And with ISOhunt and mininova becoming just "search" sites, i don't use em much anymore. Need to find another good torrent site to get stuff from.

megaupload for $75 for 2 years and rapidshare for about 50 a year. i use both because megaupload has unlimited bandwidth and all that good stuff. rapidshare has like double the content but are limited to 2gb downloads a day. sounds like a lot but if u DL blu-ray quality its 4.7-15 gb's per movie.
u can also use both services as a free user but the speeds are crappy and u only can download one link at a time and wait 15 minutes to 2 hours between downloads.

there is also hotfile, filefactory,netload,storage.to, and sharingmatrix. those are more for music programs and porn though lol. rapidshare n megaupload have the best regular media selection.

understandable about paying for faster speeds if you're doing movies but as far as music these sharing sites are pretty damn fast! 3 min. a tape/album no more than 5sec. a track. And I never have to wait after each megaupload DL, sometimes theres a wait for RS but not always

Best place for torrents is piratebay.
Best program for downloading them is utorrent.

..or so I have heard, not saying I'm using them. :naughty:

µTorrent...and torrents aren't whack.  If you say that you have no idea how torrents work or why they are actually very good.  Plus if you're in the know and have viable sources..it's hella easy to get anything you want and quick...

ok torrents arent whack but its much faster and more efficient (for me) to dl off rs or mu servers at 2-3mb/sec than it is to wait and wait and wait for a torrent to dl from multiple sources and then get to 99% and stop completely :saiyancrunks:

I remember when I used eMule and it often did exactly that. Dl stops at 99%. They weren't torrents though.

I have never - never - seen torrent do that. As I said, utorrent and piratebay or any else trustable torrent site is the way to go.
I have dl about 1,5mb/s and I'm pretty satisfied with that speed.

Torrents...only if I can't find it in stores. Support your artists!
