F.L.S. '98 Q part-out sale

Sad to say, but my Q was brutally murdered by a Toyota Tundra a little over a week ago. It's a total loss, even though I was going under 20mph and he had nothing but a bent suspension as I hit his right front wheel while he was turning left in front of me. It was his fault, and he was cited for making an unsafe turn across traffic. Myself and my son were fine, but so sadly, my Q is not.

So I'm parting it out, everything except the wheels and brakes are available as the wheels and brakes are going onto the 2004 M45 I bought on Sunday. I will make a separate thread about that another time.

I will post parts in the appropriate FS forums, but a brief list of what is available is below and PM me for details.

Pioneer AVIC D3 with iPod interface cable, and remote control
Stone beige headrests with 7" monitors (I'll update the brand in a bit, Prestige IIRC)
Stillen front spoiler, will need to be stripped and painted but it's structurally fine
Version Select side skirts and rear lip molded to bumper so you'll get the whole rear bumper
Cut Tein S-Tech and KYB SR suspension, can pull the whole things and sell complete so it's straight bolt-on or sell springs / struts alone
rear curtains for: doors, 1/4 windows and rear windshield
Magnaflow dual 22" tips, welded, w/ hangers, for direct bolt on rear muffler delete, sounds and looks great


I know I'm probably missing a few things, but that's a start. I'm keeping my wheels and BBK which will be going on my new M45.

Holy Shit Kevin NOOO!! You and that Q were and still are my inspiration.  I still have the pics of our two Qs parked next to each other from like 2 years ago.

Yep, had it 6 years this month actually, April 04.  And yeah, it really sucks, esp since it was finally sitting just right (for  me).  We'll see on the M how far I go, but by the end of June it will be  lowered, BBK (as long as it clears the wheels cause I'm pretty sure IIRC the M has lower offsets than the Q), tinted and the Euroline  FS on it, and probably exhaust too.

Best of luck on your next project and stay away from toyota they seem to not only get stuck throttles but like to kill Q's :sad:.

Shaminii, the grille is cracked in 1 place, you can probably fix it pretty easy. I was gonna have the blades re-painted flat black, now's the time. PM if interested

Wow, I wasn't expecting so much interest! Mainly the parts I'm selling are the ones listed, I wasn't planning on taking it down to a bare shell, I just want to sell the stuff I put on it mostly and then sell the whole car to someone, junk yard, whatever.

Everyone, please give me some time to get back to you all, and I'm going to Japan on Monday for 2 weeks, so can't do much till I get back on the 13th anyhow.  But I promise I will get back to everyone.

As for the M being an improvement, in ways it is, but in terms of cars, the Q is a higher end car, there are little things I'm noticing like the passenger seat doesn't have height adjustment, and there are no lights in the front foot-wells, the rear doors have ash trays but no lighters and it's not quite as big of a car. But even so, I really like it and now on my 3rd day with it I've cleaned it up, and I'm getting used to it and it's differences. Main difference I REALLY like is 340HP!!!

wish we had 340HP. =( probably gets better gas mileage too. haha. have fun in japan you lucky bastard.

As for the headlights, yeah, everyone was jealousy of how pristine and crystal clear mine are lol. But the drivers side took some damage, BUT, only to the mounting tabs, visually it's still perfect, so that might be something I'll pull off the car and sell you Josh.

ive had a couple incounters with my y33 and just barely got away from it ..... its kinda of scary with this big of a car ... glad to hear everyone is ok ... crazy to think the chasis is getting the fame others have been getting the last couple years ... the chasis now a days is getting more and more popular ..
