Rebuilding rims ??

There is this guy In town selling some bs5 they are 19" and 3 piece. My question is can I just new lips for these rims to make them wider with more lip and a lower offset? I want to
avoid buying new barrels

new lips will widen them and lower the offset. "just" might be oversimplifying it though. you'll spend $1k+ on new lips or end up buying another set with lips you want. these wheels come up pretty regularly, i would wait for something that is closer  to what you're looking for.

i got quoted on new custom lips at MCwheels.
costs like 250+ each plus shipping

not really sure on these wheels since they've never caught my interest. seems like some are being identified as work and some hart/lowenhart, anyways... they look the same and they're out there.

Rb has them in black and orange and the other are nice but thy
are both 18 :( looking for aggressive 19s or 20s

patience is a virtue. they might not be out there right now, but like i said they come up frequently.

Yeah, I was, but I decided to get the same wheels in my sig but wider rears. Once they're here I'm going to test fit them up front before I mount them on the rears. If the test fit goes well I'm going to pick up two more rears (for the front) So I'll move from a 19x8.5 all around (current) to 19x9.5 all around.

if anyone one needs rebarrell i got someone that does it in OC

I believe they're made by Work, just sold under the name of Lowenhart also. Like Racing Hart was also made by Work.

well its official im buying those rims in that link you post for get this 100 dollars lol. but now i need new lips and a redrill. they are all 19x9+28 all the way around.

i wanna get new lips so what you guys think of a 19x10 up front and a 19x11 out back. but the problem is i think the offsets will be too damn low .  if thats too much im gona go 19.x9.5 and 19x10.5 . im not good at calculating the offsets can someone help me with the new offsets if i went with either sizes listed above? i tried to do it but they came out way to damn low lol

anyways what you guys think ??

Ok so I got them now I'm just going to get the faces rechromed and the bolts and center cap done in gold. Does anyone know how much the chroming normally run just for the faces?

Na you sold me some br5 with  lexus lug pattern. Dude I'm having trouble getting these things relipped. Can you direct me as to whom can help me? Right now they are sitting at empire on northside if they can't do shit I'll go pick them up.

i dunno. i imagine it would be cheaper to import a used set with proper sizes from japan.

I went down this road with my lowenharts but with the hub bore. To be honest these wheels have shitty resale and cost a lot to have them worked on properly. You have to take into consideration....how much do you like these wheels? How much do you really want to spend knowing if you sell them you wont get much. Also you will have yo make sure that the shop does do a good job cause ur wheel could get fucked up if they skimp on work.

I have to do is buy blank lips and get them drill to the proper bolt pattern but that shit sounds way to damn easy!
