Thought this commercial made the Y33 look doper than it already is =)
Even makes me like the kouki lights a lil more, just a lil bit hahaha

Like I said....97-98 are dope. They look more normal but because everybody tends to go after the 97-98. I wanted what is not normal and common 99 FTMFW!

I like the way they do it in Japan where then use a closed box and feed the heat in box to heat it up! Man they do everything so much legit and offical!

LOL damn, well yeah, I only leave em in for like 5 mins and on a low temp.

cakes stop being a ninny, just do 10 mins at the lowest temp possible, make sure it touches nothing on the way out!

Josh you know what's funny is when I bought the 98 tails from my homeboy, he gave me a box full of parts, included where the headlights like yours and FLS.....long story short I threw them away cause they where taking up space LOL!
 
They weren't in clean condition but they would have been a nice test project :shrug:

But no way, everyone was using long lights, from corner to centers. Nissan first did the lights on the edge with the 99's. Then after Toyota made the UCF30's with the lights more focused on the edge, versus the previous UCF20's bein long from edge to center

I have the original dealer marketing package with VHS tape. On the video that commercial, and a bunch of interviews with target market people, and the car driving on streets in like Italy or something. Also has a booklet, packaged in a nice box.  Now I don't have a Q, I should re-sell it LOL...

yeah I posted that a while ago. 
I was talking to an old dude with a 97 q45 he bought it new at the time, he told me he had a choice to buy the Sclass merc or a LS at the time but prefered the Q45 instead handles better, a lil bit more lux. Old mans Q only has 30k original miles and is spotless clean! I told him to sell it to me he laugh'd. :(

I actually only like the 99s. The 2000+ have ugly wood grain. But they have one touch window controls. But yeah 99+ front and back. And that girls ass. Whooooooweee


Don't worry Josh, my homies in Vegas all did the conversion to 98. to each their own.

I want to try to drive my car like that with the rims on. My dad always says to me "I need a transporter". Haha

Its all good, I don't mind bein the only one on here defendin the zenki lights, I ain't tryin to have my car lookin like the guys next to me =)

There are other things I do like parts from Kouki models

You guys are tryin' too hard to cook your headlights! 
 
All you need to do, pre-heat the oven to like 375, once that dings, pop the headlights in the middle of the oven on a turned over cookie sheet, and TURN THE OVEN OFF. Wait like 15 mins, pull them out, nice and hot, and start prying off the lens. 
 
Repeat to put them back together. Pop them in the oven after it's been preheated to 375, TURN OFF THE OVEN, then 15 mins later, pull them out, squeeze together, and make sure it seals well. If it doesn't, pop them back in real quick to heat up and seal the lights. 
 
Also to make sure not to put your hardware back onto the lights until they have cooled off.

Well josh I had  a 97  I  liked the tails but not the head lights so now I have a 99 with the 97 tails so I'm inbetween I guess:pat: and that is a sick vid :biggthumpup:

Just do both Joe. One half 98 and the other half 99. Haha or... Have both and switch em out on certain days
