RA1 / Garson Vega / Kicker / Audio Build

Thought I'd share my latest project.

I wanted a decent sounding setup that didn't weigh a ton, and something that had a little spice to it.
I built this over the course of 2 weekends, and saved some green over having a shop build it. The box features an Infinity Mirror in between the two speakers, one-way mirror glass and about 30 LED's (still under construction).
The box is covered in Garson DAD Vega black leather material, which will also be in other parts of the car later on (so it will flow together nicely). If you haven't seen the Vega material in person, it's super bad-ass stuff and easy to work with.

I will update this thread as I progress on the Inifinity Mirror and the addition of some swarovski crystals. Enjoy

Here's the start after a few hours of wiring. Size is roughly 6"x13". Super bright blue LED's and 24g wiring (reduced bundles to 14g I had around the garage) Heatshrink applied to all connections. Custom aluminum frame LEDs are inset into. No wiring will be visible once installed.

Got the first round wired up and set on the bottom mirror panel.

(Finished) and it sounds awesome.

The Infinity Mirror turned out great. I think this is one of the first integrated in the sub box in the US

Wish I was good at carpentry. What wood did you use?

I used 2 sheets of 3/4" MDF, about 18oz of fiberglass resin, wood glue and a box of 2" wood screws. Just remember, measure twice, cut once
