Re: finallyyyyyy... s***. shoes for the wald w124 =)

the offsets are +28 for the front and +23 for the rear. 18x8 all around. i cant go wider because of the crappy w124 suspension setup. plus im going conservative. theyll poke a bit but itll look very nice in the end =)

Re: finallyyyyyy... s***. shoes for the wald w124 =)

can we see the lip of the lower offset wheel ?

allstar, why did u go 8" wide only ?

the pics on wheelexperts show 19 x 8.5 and 19 x 9.5 for the 300E models.

This car is the same one in the little pic someone posted from the weds web site before (even though he had leon hardiritt waffes on at the time)... and in fact...he seems to have a thing for leon hardiritts in general cuz that seems to be all he's been running on all his cars. THIS car is hands down the best W124 I've ever seen, and truly exemplifies VIP style in a non-traditional VIP platform... thus, I was hoping that allstar's "VIP" W124 would use this car as an example and inspiration... I hope the final result is...... close....

It sounds sad, but he's one of my 'buddies' on CarLife, so if you have any questions about his ride i can ask him...

Anyway, i'm sure your car will turn out nice regardless!

his w124 is more extreme where as mine is subtle and "exe" oriented. i wanted to push the wheels without flares though the fenders were pulled and rolled. you can run much wider on the e500 or as the one posted, with flares. but with stock fenders, 8 is pushing it due to the shitty suspension setup. in the next month or so, ill be on air and have the wheels on in a few days. im also using a 15mm spacer for the rear and 10mm for the front to push it out a bit more. i couldve done flares or widebody, but thats not the style ive chosen from the getgo. plus its my daily driver so i wanted to make it practical for what i use it for the most.

suspension wise, right now, im running shocks and springs. ive been talking with a universal air suspension company on building me an application for the w124 but since ive been in training for a new job and i just bought a house i havnt dished out the money yet. once im settled in, a month or so, ill get all that knocked out.

Actually, my main concern wasn't even with the flares or bodykit that he has, but just the stance and fitment in general. Since you said from the beginning your main goal is VIP style, you know that those two things are paramount in achieving your goal. So as long as you attend to them... all good. Basically, look at that car from Japan, reduce the fenders the couple cm to stock widths, bring the wheels in an according amount, and it'd still look bad ass VIP. That's what I meant...
