Y34 JIC-Magic coilovers coming to the US?!?

I am in recent contact with an eBay seller. They had a couple of JIC coils listed and I usually tend to ask people If they have access to the Y34 ones or can get them.
I recieved a response that stated::
"JIC-Magic USA will start make Y34 kit in USA from September.
we will need request core before wemake it."

Anyone able to confirm this? Or even know how to go about confirming?
Also on a core exchange what all is needed? And usually how long does it take?

yes there is a "core" charge because they need the knuckle, but usually JIC or other companys already have them made all they ask is the core to be sent later on ( you should get some money back)
also try to stay away from ebay sellers go thru some of the vendors here on VSC. It insures you get your part with out the hassle like you get sometimes on ebay.

hopefully that helps a little.

Outside of JIC, there's not many choices. JIC in Japan has been making the Y34 app for awhile. JIC USA has not had much demand, so they have not been supporting this app.

i spoke to jic directly and jic usa will take over since jic japan went bankrupt. hopefully, this means all products will be made in the u.s. i hope the quality of the product does not suffer.

the ebay vendors are authorized dealers who are helping to clear old stock (and are doing so at killer prices). problem is you're not going to get most vip platforms from the surplus.

the core charge works like a core charge. you are sent a complete product and refunded the charge ($600) when yours are returned. time frame depends on installation/return time.

i have been there done that .. save your self all the BRAIN akes and get airrunner WHY find some used jic and UAS which will come up to the same price any ways ... ask eyedea he will even admit its not worth the BS for the extra 2 inches that the colis will give over the AR..

Die hard vip peep will rock jic and coilovers .. i took my Location ,weather and useage into effect before making my choice for my suspension ..
I have 2 extra sets of struts and spent more money looking for a cheaper options than splashing out the 4k all at once 10 mth ago .. but this is how the game goes you gotta pay to play ..
keep looking on yahoo japan or up garage u might get lucky .. buddy club also makes coilovers for your car but good luck getting a hold of them and actually getting a set ...

thanks for all the advice. I never intended on running coilovers however the thought/idea of picking up a set of new ones for 1600ish is so tempting.

kingpin... if your not going to put your airrunners on... just sell them to me!:runcoold:

I think the top of my tire is sitting on the inside of the fender, not sure it could go lower or tuck more without smaller wheels.

I love reading Y34 coilover threads  I learn something new on every read. Wish they were easier to get. :runcoold:

show OFF!!!:giggity::biggthumpup: If I were 7-10 years younger I'd do exactly what you did. I have an H2 Hummer with 37x13.50-20's, so that may be a sign of me getting old.:giggity: I grunt and groan when climbing in and out of my M as it is now.
