how to test fit wheels.

hey guys this might be a stupid question, but when u guys test fit your new wheels do you remove the struts in order to jack up the rim to mimic full length travel of the suspension? or do you simply just jack up the wheel and compress the suspension?

Bolt the wheel on put some 2x4s under the wheel n lower the jack and start stareing

becareful and use wheel chalks...don't want your car to roll and the wheel fall on the ground...also put on ebrake as hard as you can.
