Noob from SoCal

Just checking in and making my first post an intro.

I've been in the car scene for quite a while but never really got into the ViP scene until maybe last year. Back in 99 I was rockin a 98 GS300; had the first ever Injen intake prototyped on my car, but wrecked it (the car) a year later. :pat:
Lately I've been showing/tracking my widebody 350z, and hopefully selling it soon if I find a buyer. Other than that I've just been trying to finish a frame-off El Camino Street/Strip cruiser. This 98 Y33 is my second Infiniti, which I bought since I got it for a killer deal I couldn't pass-up.

Figure I lurk the forums and learn as much as I can before I start moddin' again. My main goal will to make sure the car is up to par and can be used as a daily driver. Once I feel confident the car isn't going to blow-up going to a meet or work, then I'll let the mods begin.

Quick question for the Y33 experts; I keep on running into posts that state "240 suspension mod", yet I can't find any details while using the search button, other than more references and a clue about using the top JIC strut plates. Can someone point me, or tell me what the "240 suspension mod" is? Sounds like its a cheaper alternative than using stock Y33 struts?

Lastly, my suspension is shot; can someone help me with the average cost of a dependable bolt-on airbag kit available specifically for the Y33? If there's no bolt-on available, meaning it's a universal kit fabricated with OEM parts, then I guess I can figure that out on my own.
