I need help finding the vss wire
What's up everyone, I have a 97 q45 and I installed a double din tv with navi but I never connected the navi cuz it says it need to be connected to the vss wire (Vehicle speed sensor).I need to know where is the easiest pleace to tap into that wire. I did alot of searching and found notthing. Thanks

sure it isn't the ebrake sensor? no way to just bypass that option?

I called kenwood they told me it was the vss wire

Get a service manual and find which pin it is on the ECU..

Don't hook it up to the VSS if you have a unit that can play DVDs, because you won't be able to drive while watching movie (AT YOUR OWN RISK of course)
Instead just take the wire and ground it to your shifter column or somewhere metal by the center console. Shouldn't negatively affect your navi either on most models, but I could be wrong for the newer more high tech models.

I was told by kenwood that I need to connect this wire cuz this wire let's the navi know how fast I'm going. Also it's a Separate unit navi it let's me play DVDs and have navi at the same time.
