Does anyone know how to wire puddle lights on a y33?

i dont really know about wiring puddles can anyone help? 1997 q45

you could tap them in to ur door light(the one that comes on when u open it) easy splice. and keep the wire hidden, what most ppl do.

its just + and - with a 12-14v

if i wire them to the door lights will they come on when i unlock the car and go off when i shut the door?

it'll come on anytime that door light comes on.   I think you can added another power source to a switch but you'll need to put something inline so the door lights turn on when you don't want them too..

YES and as blitz said you can do that as well,,, if i end up getting them im going to wire them up that way door lights pop on so do the puddle lights. simple n clean lookin

yeah, I ordered a set and will post a DIY on it.  I am going to tap mine into the alarm so you press the key fob for unlock they turn on with dome lights, and when you press lock, it blinks with the hazards

  Let me know when you do that. pictures help lot more.

For sure, I mean all cars are different.. but if you get a FSM on your car and figure where the best place is to tap into it and where you can run the wire for less unnecessary holes to be drilled.. its a lot better
