Resealing 3 piece rims **HELP**

I just got my rims back from a powder coating place here in town and they resealed rims but the sealant is still tacky after 5 days ...now is it safe to mount tires on the rims?

If they sealed them properly, then it shouldn't be tacky after 5 days.

I use clear silicone from Home depot or Walmart

you can also use aquarium silicone also. they are available in black and clear

Not sure if it's too late for a reply, but if the rims are still tacky after 5 days they probably used RV silicone... same silicone used to seal windows/openings for RV's. It kinda never dries.
 
I had refinished some 5Zigen 3pc and other 2pc wheels and used traditional clear silicone bought at Home Depot. 3+ years later and no issues *knock on wood* I just made sure to call the manufacturers for the correct torque specs.
