Plans for next couple of months, in this order..
car will be left stock on the outside, i just love that ride with brand new michelins that came with it !!
 
1. Tint, i am in Florida, and I DO need it lol. (tuesday)
2. Interrior trim, it looks like Lexus forgot some peices when they did the wood look
3. Upgrading the factory speakers and sub and adding 2nd amp for new sub.
4. Comfort ! nuff said !!

That car looks very odd with the solid leather and lack of wood on the dash. I would say that only having wood on the centre console/steering wheel is part of the base model options (or lack of) as I have never seen one done like that before.

Thats interesting, mine has wood around the GPS display, the storage/sunroof controls in the headliner, the slide-out coin tray on the dash, etc. Maybe it was a rare option but I thought that most of the ones I looked at before buying mine had the wood there as well, thats why I thought yours was kind of an odd-ball.

I never seen it and that wood around GPS is not even in the promo brochuers from Lexus..
 
edit: i know some companies make "wood kits" to cover all of those items you mentioned.
When i looked through google for quiet a while after you told me that, I couldnt find any stock ls430 that had wood around the gps. only thing I found with wood was the pics from websites that sell those "wood kits" to cover your entire car pretty much. Can you post a pic of your dash close up?

I have to say it is a Vip car enthusiast site. Where we take cars like that and mod them to stupidness. But we also like nice comfort cars as well.

I have read hundreds of threads here over the last 9 months that i have been on this forum. Bun there was nothing that stated that this forum is ONLY for wheels and suspension mods. As matter of fact, almost all of the things that i will do to my ls430 over the next 12-18 months came from what i read in this forum.
 
EDIT: And im sorry that I curently dont have $5,000-6,000 to drop on a set of wheels that I want for my specific car because I don't want them looking like Swiss cheese. But instead I do have couple of hundred $ available to make the interrior a little nice while I save up for my wheels..

Welcome to VSC. 
You seem to be reading the comments wrong and I think that is where the mis-communication is coming in. Alex was not saying that the site is all bout wheels and suspension only. Those typically are the first mods people do AFTER the maintenance of the vehicle has been brought up to suitable standards. Please build your car your own way and by your own means. If you have any questions about fitment, suspension, or other items, feel free to ask.

I'll post up some pictures of mine tonight or tomorrow when I get home from work. After closer inspection it would appear that all the extra wood is aftermarket but I really would have had no idea if you didnt suggest that idea to me. Very weird, I always thought it was an OEM Lexus feature.
