Hey Guys!I finally have the time and the money to get my car started off right...and by right I mean wheels and suspension. While I'm waiting on those crucial items I thought I'd go ahead and start off this thread with mods to date. By the time I get all the pictures posted, so far, and the text written the car will be near completion.
I am not really going for VIP/EXE but I am definitely inspired, even in awe of some of the cars produced by the style. Remember, you knew you were clicking on a non-platform guy's thread when you came here, and now you know that I'm posting here on VIPStyleCars because this community is as close to my heart as any, for the mods I have completed, and have in store.
I will start by apologizing for the quality of the pictures, when the car is done I will have it shot professionally.
This is how it all started:
I added the fakey chrome crap to the grill and lower valence.
It looked pretty good, but being crap it peeled and looked like junk pretty quick, so that's gone. Does anybody have any ideas for a durable method of adding chrome slats, or a better look to the factory grille?
One of my first 'real' modifications was 3000K HID foglights to augment the factory HID mains.

Here is the light pattern with the 3000K fogs as well (pardon the blur). You'll notice there is NOT a ton of glare.
I decided the old girl needed some more oomph, so I loaded her up with a dry shot of nitrous. Here she is at the track. The juice is fun, but not very VIP.
I had a little grudge match at the track, domestic T-bird driver and his shit talk:

Now that the stuff you guys probably don't care about is out of the way, it's time for a taste of things to come...
Did anyone notice how the Acura emblem looks similar to the DAD emblem? If you add a hundred or so Swarovski Crystals (SS20, Flatback, Clear, Xilion Rose Cut), this is what you get.
It's truly stunning in the early morning/evening when the light is diffused. Beautiful. I've thought about filling it the rest of the way in, opinions?
