replacing g50 trunk lock?

want to swap my original lock over to my president trunk. seems like i should know how to do this but i'm drawing a blank. i do not have a key for the pres. any help?

Install a trunk popper.  Aint you from Houston?

the cylinder should just swap over right? or you can get the president trunk re-key'd to the key you have.

it should swap over, i just couldn't figure out how to remove it. i pulled the clip and disconnected the linkage but it wouldn't budge. i only gave it a few minutes so i'll go at it again today. any help would still be appreciated in case i don't get it off.
 
*edit - got it. for future reference you just have to remove the president trunk bar, undo the clip, and undo the linkage.
