There are quite a few that roll this low day in and day out. Or at least they must be freakin experts at raising their cars because they post daily updates on Minkara/Mixi showing the car in all sorts of places.

And FYI, every vip event is exactly the same. People scraping like a mofo on what seems like smooth roads, in new cars/old cars it dont matter; Undercarriage is expendable to them.

I like the look but its not for me.
I don't work hard to put money in my car just to beat the shit out of it and have to dump more money into it endlessly.
That's what air is for.

LOL!!!! OH!!!!! That's what air is for?!!!!! DAMNIT!!! I've been doing it wrong this whole time!!! :pat:

I thought air was for riding low and parking lower while also having the luxury to quickly adjust the height to clear certain obstacles

I work hard to put endless money into my car wether I'm beating the shit out of it or not :P

Thank you for making my point for me. Air = ride as low as you wish and still be able to get over obstacles. I guess you missed the point about the vehicles in question being STATIC. Big difference. You should try it sometime.

YOU can keep working hard for YOUR money and spending however YOU like. I won't. Get it?

the problem with that theory is that you will do more damage riding that low on air vs. coils during average conditions. believe it or not there's a reason why all the really low cars are on aggresive coils, and it's not just "their roads are better".

But thats not my theory. Riding that low regardless of suspension choice is going to result in serious damage. Whether its ripping off a bumper, control arm or oil pan.
Travelling 100 miles doing the speed limit is impossible at that height. That's my first point.
Like I said 'I like the look, its just not for ME'.
Air gives you the option of riding as low as the conditions allow. That was my second point.

Well, here's my opinion:

My car is daily driven, and for practicality's sake, I can't always ride super dumped. Sometimes I have to drive at near stock height.

But for times I'm cruising, or just feeling like being dumped, I have that option. I don't feel like I have to prove something to anyone if I'm not always driving that low.

You know you like rolling dumped and having everybody jock the car though...

Just sayin'

A friend told me a while back when I told him I probably wasn't going to mess with my car once I fixed all my problems on it....

" Cars are hobbies, you don't put money into it to make profit."

These guys, as well as all of us, put money into the cars because we LIKE it. If others choose to rock a car that is 1/4" from the ground, so be it. It gives them their brownie points for saying "That's daily driven" and it is a sens of accomplishment that is CAN be done.

There are always people who will fix up their car drive it a bit, mess with it, but never take it to an extreme. Then there are always people who will constantly push the boundaries. Look at Agi's car. How many other cars can you say you've seen that have a confederation of parts from all across the world, and actually look GOOD?!

You will never know your true potential until you try, and until you do try it, who knows, right?

Back to the story at hand...these are hobbies, and you do YOU, not do it for a scene. They roll stupid low because they want to, not because their roads are perfect (which they aren't) or because they have lots of money and can thrash a car and pick up another one anytime they want. I wonder how many laws they are breaking daily, just to drive their car like that.
