#332769My VIP-ish xB.
I only say VIP-ish because some of you will hate on the carbon fiber. But my build started out as more of a Sport Lux thing and this winter I plan on smoothing it out by losing the carbon fiber and going all painted. But the interior is pure VIP and still working on getting a few more items I want for in there. The build...
Most VIPers don't pay alot of attention to the performance, but my B is a little different. The engine has a full Gude bullfrog package with port and polish, Custom valves and dual valve springs, port matched exhaust and intake manifolds and ported throttle body. There is also a Greddy supercharger and E-manage adding some much needed boost to the otherwise slow box. Power is transfered to the ground through the stock 5 speed with a light weight Fidanza flywheel and ACT stage 4 clutch. All this exhales through a custom cat back and Ganador Titan Rouge axle back kit. As far as I know, I am the only one running the Ganador on a B here in the US.
The body is factory Camo green and love it. The aero is by Vert and is mounted on a JDM OEM Zenki bB front bumper. This is the only Vert kit for a B in the US. The fenders and hood are carbon fiber from B-Magic and the carbon fender flares are from bBist. As well as the hood wing. The spoiler is a Garson Geraid and the door handle are JDM chromes. The mirrors come off a '72 Toyota Celica GT. My little retro throw back. Front fenders are cut and rear rolled and STREEEETCHED to get the wheels to fit.
Ice is pretty basic and desires some attention, but at my age it's good enough for me. There's an ALpine deck running JDM Pioneer Carrozeria door, rear window(you read that right) and powered sub. The window speakers are pretty rare, about 12 or less sets in the US, and as far as I know I am the only one with the subwoofer. No TV's but I plan on putting opaque film on the rear window and a projector.
The interior is chalk full of Garson DAD stuff including wood grain center console cover, wood grain door caps, wood grain door speaker covers, wood grain speedo bezel, and wood grain pillar lights. The center console is JDM 2nd gen with a lighted bB cupholder. There are lighted booboos for the door locks and Belleza curtains. Seats are covered by Clazzio but will soon be changing to Garsons. There is also Junction Produce Kintuna, Fusa, and neck pillows. The pillows are soon to be swappe dwith Garsons as well and some more Garson goodies are planned. There are also Unico Zone chrome AC knobs and labels. Steering is done via a Fabulous wood grain steering wheel.
Suspension is a Frankenstein air setup using Slam Specialties, Easy Street and Viair along with my own rear brackets.
Now for my Fav's. The wheels are as follows, and read slowly and breath deeply because the are a offset that most guys won't even put on a RWD car. They are Work Meister S1 2 piece wheel. 15x9 -5 A disk in the front and 15x10 -15 O disk in the rear. Tire are Falken 205.50.15 all around. Yes, 205's on a 10" wheel in the rear.
Best accolades are Best Scion, 2nd Place Best VIP and 2nd Place Best Modified and the '09 HIN in Chicago. Was supposed to have a mini feature in Import Tuner but that never got printed.
A few pics for now, but you will definitely see more later.
