Interior Adhesives

So I have been looking for adhesives to use to re-do my interior. 

So far DAP Weldwood High Strength (High Temp) works damn well but the spray can seems to spray good once or twice but then sprays globs after extended sprays. Weird but yeah this works fairly well.

What are you attaching?

Contact adhesive is the best for headliners using thick material like vinyl, but it'll soak thru if you don't give it 4-5 minutes to cure.  I have a HVLP I use for spraying contact cement, it was $40 and plugs right into my air compressor and sprays perfect.  I laugh thinking I used to use a brush to apply that stuff.

Super 90 (spray can) is good for suede and fabrics.  It'll pull off easy if you tug on it so it has limited applications.

Be sure to use a test piece always to make sure it adheres and does not soak thru.  That has gotten me in trouble in the past.

When uses a spray can be sure to clean the nozzle EVERY time.  Don't poke shit in it, just peel the glue around it up. Those can's will clog  super fast if you don't.  When I used to fix interiors at dealerships i'd be cleaning my adhesive can tip 6-7 times an hour fixing cig burns.

Also the spray cans aren't spray paint, you can't give them 2 shakes and spray, you really need to mix up the contents or you'll be shooting juice/aerosol.

Damn I should have read this before doing my liner or I wouldn't have the few soak through stains. But live and learn. Ill just tell people the kid projectile vomited in that one SMALL spot.

Yeah I was a victim of the not shaking the can enough.
