NEW G50 PROJECT

Hey guys,

I have been a lurker here for about a year and have finally found a project to work on.I picked this car up cheap, I have been looking for one for a while. I have always wanted to build a VIP style car, hopefully my previous projects have given me enough experience to tackle this mess I bought. Is there a build forum on here? I might just start a free blog to post up pics on. Anyways, here's my new hoopty.
I am researching bagging it, it would be cool to be able to control the active suspension, but I dont think anyone has tackled something like that - have they???
I have 18x9.5 wheels for it and a few other things. I am going to pull it apart first and fix the rust, change out all of the fluids and make sure everything is clean and safe before I get moving on it. Thanks for looking and any ideas!


I MIGHT LEAVE THAT STRAP THERE, JUST FOR EFFECT

MAYBE I SHOULD JUST CLEAN IT REALLY REALLY WELL AND THROW WHEELS ON IT?

welcome to the g50 fam. before you get started, do your research (if you haven't already) regarding deffered/preventive maintenance and true cost of owning. the g50 costs more than most cars to get right and keep on the road. it's not uncommon for a g50 project to get abandoned when the owner gets tired of throwing money at it. nico is the place to go for solid maintenance info, just don't talk too much about it being a vip build because they're haters.

rasrx7 was able to control his active suspension with a datasystem controller.

this is the place for your build thread, unless you want to put it in 101.
