Y33 Lowering springs

I wanted to make a thread with perferances and companies that offer these and the drop then possibly a picture of the before and after.

All I have gathered so far is only Espelir, Eibach, and Tein make drop springs, or made them.

Espelir:
Price: $320 shipped from CA to NC
Drop: around a 1.5"

these springs are actually made for the FGY33 (the v8 model; the others are for v6)

Tein:
Price: $380ish shipped...
Drop: around a 2"

thse are made for the V6 models of the car...

Eibach:
$if you get lucky enough to find them??
drop: ??

PLEAS ADD TO THIS SO WE CAN GET A GOOD COMPILATION, or please direct me to page similar to this as my search has turned up nada! Thanks guys!!

I had Tein's and 99% of people w/ Y33's in the USA who are on springs, are on Tein's. A couple are on Espelir, and only very few on Eibach, which I wouldn't call "lucky" to get them, the lowest drop of all, probably less drop than Espelir. BTW, I can get Tein's for much less than that. I rode on them for 6 years solid and cut them a few years back to get an other inch lower.

I would rate them in terms of drop like this:

Eibach / Espelir the least drop, 1.5" or less
Tein / Insurance / RS-R all drop about the same amount ~2".

Insurance Super Down:
price: around $400
Drop: ~2"

RS-R:
price: around $400 if you can get them
drop: ~2"

i assume with that info, the ride quality of the espelir's and the eibach's would be more like stock due to them not being as low, which would not need much of a higher spring rate. correct? but, all in all, one probably wouldnt really be able to tell the difference.

one reason i am curious of spring rate is because if i did end up going with the espelir's and opted to cut the springs, then i dont want the rim to hit the fender on hard bumps because the spring rate wasnt stiff enough when i could have gotten teins and had less spring compression from the get go...when i get that far but, i guess thats what camber is for also......

another thing. anyone know of the differences of these chassis codes? (before i go look for it im pretty sure its mostly just engine...and if it was awd or hicas correct, and i do know the there are differences in headlights, taillights and such....but, im more interested in the chassis...aka will it fit...)
