They dont make brackets for the SS but the CS brackets are pretty close. You just have to modify them with a grinder

another thing to consider is that uas can't go over any coils with a diameter of 2.14 in or bigger

They can with some tweaking of the coilover. Got to grind them down a bit

Even grinding it down wont give you enough. If u grind down the threading then there is no point to the coilover anymore as you dont have any adjustibility. The SS also use the oem top hats so the CS brackets will not work. My friend had the SS coils they were about 2.25 inch diameter there is no way to get it to fit. You have a better chance to sell the SS and use stance or BC but then you would still need to modify the rear coil.

puttin bags on a single tap coilover is pointless anyway. might as well sell them and use aftermarket replacment struts or cop some full tap coilovers.

A coilover with adjustment only at the spring perch. e.g. JIC SF-1 or Tein CS.

correct. to retain suspension travel the bag should be snug against the upper and lower perch and height adjusted by the lower bracket. everytime i see bags on a single tap coilover the lower perch is cranked down hella low. at this point you're riding on bumpstops and may as well be f**kin up something cheaper since the suspension can't do what it's supposed to do anyway.

Actually that is an incorrect assumption. Single tap coils are being phased out but it in no way means that you cannot use them with bags. BLK u are thinking 1 dimensionally in this case. When you air up the bag, the more air you put into it, the higher the pressure thus the higher the spring rate. The reason why people crank the coil all the way down is so that they are lower at the pressure where they like the spring rate of the bag. For example to throw some hypothetical numbers out lets say that you like the feeling of the car with 98 PSI in the front and 80 in the back, however you do not like the ride height, you will crank the perch down in order to drop the bag and get it to the ride height u want to be at and the pressure you want to be at. Now even with a double tap coilover it will not make it easier to fine tune since you have to adjust even more like preload in order to make sure that its riding right. Since the bag is not static like a spring u would need to air up and test drive and fine tune till you like where you are at. I prefer double tap coils just due to the easier rebuilt process and the adjustability that it gives you, but to correctly set the suspension would take much more work.

there is no assumption being made. i understand why people do it but you have to understand what is actually happening, not just what it looks like when it's over.

i'm going to use generic numbers to make the point. let's say you start with 6" of suspension travel. you set the coilover up for full travel by snugging the perches at full extension of the bag at max psi. the weight of the car causes 1" of droop (down to 5" of travel). then you deflate the bag to 90psi because that gives you the ride quality you're looking for. this drops the car and eats up another unavoidable 2" inches travel regardless of what type of damper you're using (that leaves 3" of travel). now you decide it's not low enough so you crank the lower perch down another 2"; you are left with 1" of travel. had you done the same thing with full tap coilovers you would have 3".

so yeah, i get your point as to the benefit of having fine tunability in regards to height:psi, but "fine" is mm's not inches. actual function is much more important than simply being able to set your ride height in my eyes.

as far as double tap coilovers being more complicated, it takes exactly the same amount of effort to lower the spring perch as it does to extend/shorten the lower bracket. the only difference is one is adjusting height by positioning the spring/bag and the other is changing overall length of the damper.

single tap is being phased out for a reason.

as long as they are less than 2.14" they will fit inside the strut
