300zx/Skyline brakes for 1998 Q45 F G Y33
I am curious what has to be done to complete this task.
from what i have read and searched basically you have to do everything the same way you would a 240 because the q45 is basically the same as a 240, as far as mounting points, thread pitch's and diameters for the lines...but the only thing that would need to be bought for the front brake converison would be the conversion brake lines for a 240...
all in all to successfully complete this swap you need:
-240sx conversion brake lines for the 300zx/skyline calipers
-300zx/skyline pads
-300zx/sklyine rotors
is this correct? 98' Q45...
and to use the stock q45 rims, you would need approx a 15mm spacer, or rims to house the brakes...

i believe it requires a little more work for y33s. it is a direct bolt on for the g50.
someonhe should chime in with the facts since a lot of guys run them.

Do a search, or go to the Infiniti forum and look for it, I did a complete write up on every part you need to get this done. It's an excellent upgrade, and not difficult. I thought they were gonna sticky the post, but I guess they didn't.

Yeah, the 350 track rotor is about 13" and the stock Q one is about 12". DON'T get 300zx rotors, they are SMALLER than the stock Q ones and the pads will be of the edge of the rotors. So if you don't go with the 350z track rotors, get replacement Q45 rotors.

If you get the track rotors, the only thing you'll need is caliper relocater adapters you can get on eBay for about 50 bucks.
