Just another UCF20
Hello VSC!!
Just wanted to share some pictures of my car.
There´s nothing special about it, just wheel and suspension.
Suspension is BC coils + UAS bags.
Plalns:
raising exhaust
drop front another inch
wood wheel and shift
dual pipe mufflers
wonna see my ride height?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZU-Ke6ww8k
not happy with it, because of the stock exhausts, but it will be changed soon.
btw, that gs300 is going VIP road next year:dance:

THNAKS!!
rears are 10.5 +15. Dont know the camber. I had to roll the fenders and then shave them because rims didnt want to fit because of the fat fender lip. Now it fits, I dont know if a credit card can fit between the rim and the fender...its veeery close.

indeed, got the exhausts raised. cost around 100$
pipes after catalizators were rewelded higher and in the rear mufflers were pulled also higher. I was afraid that they will make noise, but they dont.
Thanks
Schnitz for pictures, they really helped.
And of course my ride height is lower now: fronts as low, so I could turn; rears...so you dont see a tyre: fender ends and comes the rim, no tyre :runcoold:
Drove today from shop to work and then home...no problem.
And when I pancake, exhaust doesnt go against the road. Before there were some nasty noises coming.
Airestonia (Eugene, GS300) was right about the good quality video, hope to do it soon. As for now, here is a small video of me parking into the garage:

I have BC+airbags. I´m still experimenting with the stiffnes.
Cant set it to be as soft as stock suspension, because I´m that low. I´m used to have a stiff car, but with this one I want some comfortable too. Still searching for the ideal setting.

I dont drive with 0 psi. I lift fronts so I could turn and rears so you wont see tyres (rim meets fender). Ride is tuned to be stiff because I like stiff and I need to be stiff because its low (I scratch the road quite a lot). I have BC coils with UAS, in the rear coils are in the lowest posision, but I dont it to be lower at 0 psi (it would look bad).

small update.
because there is still one month till I can drive my car on the streets (because its forbidden to drive with summer tyres now), I decided to make some more modifications.
From the very beginning I wanted to replace the sub, because the factory one sucks. I got a DLS 10 inch free air + amp. Had to cut some metal, but it was easy, did it with metal scissors; also made a wood platform for the sub.
Also got mufflet tips. Now I need to cut holes in the bumper. Dont think its hard.
next is more technical: trany and engine mounts, throttle body clean, some exhaust raising work.
Cant wait for the spring :saiyancrunks:

sub mount looks pretty good, matching fabric would have set it over the top.
check out the stealth kit from sense brand japan. just stumbled on it the other day. it raises the exahust 40mm. if i had a 20 it'd be on order.

OG, because of the flash you can see the difference between the materials, but in real life its fine.
I would buy stealth kit, but getting expensive part overseas is a PITA. done that !!
today I cut holes for the exhaust tips.
my rule was: measure 7 time, cut once. And it helped, because my left exhaust appeared to be about 1,5 inch closer to the center of the bumper than the right one. If I wouldnt measure everything, I would be in deep trouble.
Anyway, here´s how I did it:
taped the bumper, sides and found the center of the bumper.
made a drawing of the hole on the paper:
put it on the bumper, measured that was horisontal:
cut:
I have many tools, but I decided to cut the holes by hand. Here my tool:
result:
I´m happy with the result, didnt mess up anything.

Juzzo, nice to here there is someone in the north doing it the right way
as for muffler tips, there is no way they are going to be that hot it would effect the bumper.
today connected the amp, tested the sub. Rattle came from the 3rd brake light, gonna fix that with some rubber seal.

Nice! If I can whip up a Finnish VIP photoshoot in autumn in Helsinki/nearby would you be interested?
I've been organising the Finnish Aristo/GS meet for the last two years and now I've changed the game up. I'm organizing a Finnish JayZee-Meet in July/August, and I've been pondering that I should try to organize something more inline with "VIP" up aswell... Thought about a Work Wheels photoshoot/mini-meet, but now the idea of a northern "VIP-Style" shoot and mini-meet is starting to grow on me quite a lot =)
There should be something like atleast 6 Vip-styled cars in Finland, but how does the scene hold up down there(Baltic region)? With about 8-12 cars it would be do-able to pay for a professional photographer and try to get some magazine coverage both sides of the bay... Atleast without making a dent in anyones economic state.

Moi, Juzzo!!=)
If you orgnize a meet, let me know and I´ll figure something out.
bad news is that there´s no more VIP or VIP inspired cars here, at least in Estonia. I dont think there are in Latvia and Lithuania. Most guys here go sport style and you cant even compare their level to finnish. I´ve been to American Car Show, and daaamn: quite many nice car with good stance. We are like in cave time here :pat:

funny how they picked that color name. Kinda like a "no sh!t really?" kinda name haha. but then again why call it something more than exactly what it is?
I agree, your shows that uber classic style! I love it!
