Q45 WITH 22 INCH SPINNERS!!!!!

Hey Guys i've been a member on the site for awhile and i've talked to a few of you i been meaning to get a picture of my car up and finally got around to it. Its a 1999 infinity Q45 with 22 inch dub spinners/floaters let me know what you guys think

How do you guys make the picture bigger?

I Think only those who are in line with your principles and can bear this Sight . The content on your car is your choice. , BUT its the looks that guides you in the direction of a Wrapper .. not a rapper ..

Hey, this is easy, you have a platform car, check.... you have a desire to make it your own, check.... you have wheels and considering the wheels you have stance, check.... 22" floaters have to resale for a pretty penny, which equals the ability to buy a set of used  quality VIP wheels right here on good ol VSC, and you've found the essential source of modern day VIP in the US, Check!!! Welcome to VSC!!! I bet you could sell those, buy a used set of wheels, and have a few dollars left to start your suspension fund.... 

In conclusion, I welcome your "Before" shot, and I look forward to your after shot....

It's not bad.  Unique color and its clean all around.  On this site, if its not on the ground, it aint right.  Just keep reading and looking at pics.  If this style is for you than the wheels will have to go down 2-4" inches so you can get it closer to the ground.

i know another guy on here with 22's on his q45. to me they're too big, but to each their own. nice platform :biggthumpup:

I feel what you guys are saying. I just like the bigger wheels tho. My tires are stretched and my suspension is lowered I got the coilovers in the front and teins springs in the back. I'll go a lil lower once i get the front fenders rolled. So is it my choice of wheels or the size that doesn't make it VIP?

it's the fact that you haven't done anything the way a vip style car would do it. needs to be lower. needs to have different style, generally smaller wheels. needs to be inline with the japanese vip style. no real rules but once you get familiar with it you'll know the difference.
 
if this is your style do your thing. it doesn't have to be vip. people see vip and think V.I.P. and think it's just about being baller. vip is a style from japan that we are (or aren't) mimicking.

Matte black the faces/lips. 
 
Chromed out 'ballin' wheels always look better when they are matte/satin/flat blacked, and the lips don't look so bad either, even though they aren't as wide as they could be. 
 
Spinners? You could pull it off and be 'unique' if you do it right. First things first, get lower. Why the coils up front / springs in the rear? Do you have coils for the rear? How much lower can you get before you are banging your rims onto your frame/inner fenders?
 
Also...look at the pictures on this site. Look at your car. How can you make your own car fit in with this style?
 
How much money you willing to spend to make those wheels work? Are they multi-piece? You willing to pull off bodywork to make them fit and be as low as possible?

I like the color of the car, and I hear it has a type of suspension , I am not a fan of the spinners but I have seen a blackq45 on 22's super tucking. and he had a vipstyle wheel thou
 
People that have done a great job with a larger wheels with the styling is platinum vip... in socal .. take a peek

what he said lol nice platform car but the setup isint "vip" or like you would see on here or in the mags just doesnt flow with the style.

Thanks for the replys guys. I plan on tucking the wheels as soon as i get the front fenders rolled i went with the spinners just to do something a lil different. Around my area spinners are baller cuz there arent many people with them. Right now i have the spinners set up to float so it looks like you slideing on ice lol. The bearing in the spinner has to be changed every two years.

I did the Davin (original spinners) private label wheel program back in 2000 and it wasn't even cool then. To each his own, though!

Well if you have other pix then please post.  but i would def get that thing lower asap.  then maybe you'll catch a few more fans.  I have to commend you tho, bc at least you didn't go with cheap $150 spinners.  I think if you are dedicated and have the Ca$h Money then this would look pretty bad ass.  Like LowvanU2 said, gr8 before and looking forward to the after pix.

I like that color. 22s are a bit big and never felt spinners myself. Would love to see 1/4 of the wheel tucked into the fenders though. I agree with some of the others about selling them and copping some 18-20's and getting your q closer to the ground.
