The headlight fogs or aftermarket on a bumper? The OEM headlight fogs are hella bright...having HID's in there would be horrible! JDM headlight fogs are even brighter because they have no shield like the US ones do.

IDK if you want to do that. It's really bright, and will definitely get you pulled over. You also can't go back to the yellow fogs, unless you buy another set, because you'll have to break out the yellow glass, if you haven't already.

i was going to brake out the yellow glass. i saw a black ls at one of the autofashion meets, who had is fogs HID yellow and they didnt seem crazy bright. My main things is how to power them up with also using the stock fog light switch.

Run a relay. The switch for the relay would come from your stock lightbulb harness, and the and the power and ground would run from your battery.

It should work that way. You might need to modify your foglights to run independently, if you already have your HID lows and can't use your high beams, which IIRC makes your foglights FUBAR.

I wired my foglights to work independently, It was as simple as making an 'extension' for the relay. 5 wires that were like }----------{ (spades) and you take one of the wires (look up on club lexus, how to make your fog lights run independently) and jump it to another spot in your fuse box or something. Did this back in 06 on my LS, don't remember now lol.

Sucks...I had just done this mod, to be able to run my fogs and my HID lights as well (since your fogs won't turn off without some sort of signal from the highbeams) and then my car got totalled that night....lol bringing back memories!
