If the company that makes them said they can't be rebuilt... You're gonna have to do something pretty crazy to rebuild them. Like make your own or something

i always hear stories about certain motorcycle shops being able to revalve/repair shocks, but i have a feeling this is hearsay. it might be worth checking out, though.
btw, this is my 500th post! yay!

Well, it probably wont help you but we have shock absorber reconditioners in Australia that can pretty much recondition (and revalve, sorten etc) any shock. I'd expect the same thing exists in the US too...

koni inserts. Call koni and ask tech for specific size that fits the size and dimensions comparative to the blown ones.
rebuild and revalve blown ones

I had mine rebuilt with Koni yellow inserts. mine were Y32 JICs and I was told they could not be rebuilt. You just have to take them to someone who knows what they are doing. any good Rally shop should be able to help.

Ok so I did some research and found out that the koni 8610-1436race strut will work. So I orderd a pair and they did fit. But there where a little bit long, so I took my coilovers to a macheine shop and they were able to make the hole deeper. So any that is stuck with the same porblem the koni strut inserts will work with a little work. I'll post pic up soon.

V6 models had 12mm caliper bracket holes, so you prob still have Y33 ones. I had to have the holes enlarged on mine and that was the reason.
