I think there was a member in here that did something along those lines, try the search feature, but I'm in for more info. Actually visa versa, I've been looking into different fabrics/materials to have my woodgrain wrapped in.

If you want to "wrap" your pieces with different wood grain finishes, this company in Maryland called http://www.idsfinishes.com/ has several versions of 3M's Di-noc film.

Check out their flickr page http://www.flickr.com/photos/idsfinishes/collections/72157623795960162/ for different wood grain color swatches.

dip-tech.net has done all of RE's dipping. theyll hook you up if you mention RE, but theyre located in texas so youll have to take the shipping cost into consideration.

DOULBE UPDATE:

There are custom kits for $99 from MULTIPLE sites. You can't get burlwood from the kits but that can be ordered from other stores. ~$150 does it it would appear.
