Ucf20 or 2gs?

If u were to choose between these 2 cars to vip-ed out. What would you choose and why? I have a ucf20 at the moment but dont know if i should buy a gs or just keep my ls. They're both good cars but which one is better if ur going for vip. Kinda confused though coz i like them both. Opinions are very welcome. Thanks! And pls move if this is not the right section.

I had both. 00 LS and 98 GS400. If I had to get one again i'd get the LS. It was a better car hands down and I loved both cars.

well i have a ucf2x myself but id say ls, far to maby ppl get a gs and lower it with wheels and say im vip, the gs does look sleeker but its a car thats been done many times over i think, were the ls takes some thinking out to do up as its a bit blah looking i think, but when done right the ls can be amazing, some my say diff but owell lol

@ green poupon
so u mean the ls is more reliable? And the gs was not? Hands down when it comes to?
But when it comes to reliability i know that ls has this because i never had any major
problems with this car, just regular oil change and that's it. Its like a drive and go car.
Never had experience with the 2gs so i dont know how reliable this it can be.

@blkvip
we both have the same view when it comes to gs. Its a very sleek car,
just a nice set of wheels then slam it, then you can call it a certified VIP..
:-)

Both cars have the same motor and both were reliable. I had literally ZERO problems with my LS. My GS had little stuff here and there that was annoying. I had both cars for a year plus. I put 20k+ on both my LS and GS and 40k+ on my 94 GS300. Both cars were reliable but the LS drove smoother, rode better, and was much more comfortable. The GS looks better unmodified but the LS I feel is more aggressive when modified. With how much has been done to the 2GS's without some serious and unique modifications you are going to be hard pressed to get a second glance from a lot of people. I've had a GS300, GS400, LS400, IS300, and for a few months a ES300. Best one hands down was the 00 LS400. The LS400 is a very, very nice car.

Are you in Cali or Canada? If you're in Canada, I'll sell you my 95 UCF21 Junction Produce widebody Celsior. Same as LS400 in states. I'm leaving Tokyo soon and going to sell this turn key ViP car.

In any case, I have had an 04 LS430 UL and this 95 UCF21 and I must same, going with the LS series, you won't be disappointed.

I personally had both cars at one time. It was a tough decision when I had to let a car go. Obviously, I kept the GS over the LS. If I had to do it again, I would of kept the LS....

The MAIN reason why I kept the GS was the nostalgia I had towards the car at the time. That was the car that led me to start VIPstylecars.com. It pretty much got me started into this. Don't get me wrong, i love the 2GS and how it looks when modified, I just loved the luxury feeling the LS had. It drove better, was bigger, quieter, and damn was sick when tastefully modified and slammed.

I miss my LS... dammit. Oh well...

I'll sell you a UCF20:biggthumpup:. I would pick the UCF20, when I was car shopping it came down to a UCF20, a 2GS, or a UCF30. It quickly came down to the LS430 or the LS400 and in the end I chose the LS400.

@ vip king
what suspension are u running? U might want to sell them coz im currently looking for coilover or air. I saw ur jp kit already but i want to start with the susp first.

@ boosty.vip
is this ur ls?! So sick men!!!... Nice stance too!

@ vipstylecars
Yeah a lot of you guys says that once the ls was tastefully modified and slammed it would really stand out and compete with the 2gs. Maybe im just bored with the car thats why im thinking of switching to 2gs.

I was in a similar situation after I told my s14 to buy a VIP platform...For me it was a money issue a little. I found a crazy deal on a 91, 2 owner LS400 and never looked back. I couldn't imagine driving anything else now. I ride in my friends Civics and I'm just like "yuck...get me back in my LS" Its so big, comfy, roomy, quiet...I honestly couldn't imagine this car being brand new in 91 and how tits the owner would have to have felt.

and you can't argue with a big body sedan dumped :)

^ My thoughts exactly. The 98-00 might be a 'update' on the 95-97 but its a big fucking update.

Okay, i've decided not to sell my ls anymore. =)
i already have the wheels which is euroline dh but only
18x8.5 and 18x9.5. Ill start from here. I know the size is
not that aggresive but its a good start i think. =) my
problem right now was the suspension. I dont know if i
should buy a used air sus kit (cant afford the new ones),
or a set of new or used bc coils. What do you guys think?
And by the way, thank you for all the comments and
opinions with ls and 2gs. It made me happy.
