Here's a link to more info about the wheels and tires:

I am already hooked up with an Universal Air Suspension for my project. I am working on getting some struts for the air as we speak.
It will be a car that handles for the track because that's where it is going!

www.UniversalAirSuspension.com this is what my stance will look like once finished:
But with a better wheel fitment rolling on some Weds ;)

Re: Weds Kranze Borphes Test Fit
Thats gonna look sick as hell!
One question though, you mention tracking it. Wont traction be an issue with so much camber? I know on my wheels (6.5 deg) the outside of the tyre doesnt even touch the ground. I drive slow so it doesnt bother me, but in a track situation i would think that is less than ideal...
either way, cant wait to see the result...

Re: Weds Kranze Borphes Test Fit
what offsets?
good luck with your 350z!! I also need to cut and section my rear upper control arms to get more negative camber on my SC.

Yah these wheels will have a bit too much camber for track use. I will be purchasing another set of wheels for the track.

Let's make this a little fun:
My wheel specs are as follows:
Front: 19x10
Rear: 19x11
Front Lip: 5"
Rear Lip: 5.5"
Can you figure out my offsets? I want to see who knows how to do their math ;)

Come on, someone has to know how to do the math, it is simple 6th grade math, if that ;)

Re: Weds Kranze Borphes Test Fit
Do their math? Even wheels with the same offset will provide a different amount of lip due to design.
Tell me the discs and I'll tell you the offsets because I have a Weds Kranze catalog in front of me :D

Re: Weds Kranze Borphes Test Fit
Disk size needs to be considered or none of us is going to be able to guess the sizing.

Re: Weds Kranze Borphes Test Fit
You guys are pretty close, SLOW disk front, Mid rear.
I'm sure someone will nail the offsets in a little while ;)

I'm also curious about the disc choices? Maybe to get the offsets he wanted.
19x10 -4
19x11 -18

Re: Weds Kranze Borphes Test Fit
I like how you are changing the way the guys think over at my350z.com
Hopefully some will realize that stretching tires does not = death and that wheels will fit other than Volk TE37.

Re: Weds Kranze Borphes Test Fit
To the guy on my350z who talks about how stretched tires are unsafe with the bead separating blah blah blah... you need to inform him that, believe it or not, in the case of most "normal" tire blow-outs, a stretched tire will actually be safer because the tire remains on the rim, allowing you to slowly roll yourself to safety. The shorter sidewall also helps keep the tire within the rim lips. A non-stretched tire will actually have a greater tendency to roll off the rim, and that's when all hell breaks loose; when you lose a tire completely, it's game over sad day for everyone within a couple hundred meter radius of you. So for peeps like that, invite them to actually try driving with a stretched tire, and if they want evidence, invite them to create an experiment mythbusters style where they pop both a stretched, and non-stretched setup so they can see for themselves. Of course, only folks who have experienced blowouts with both are qualified to make statements like I am with anecdotal evidence (I think suspended wayne can also now be added to this list). Of course, as with everything, there's a point of diminishing returns on how far you can stretch a tire before it just becomes sorta useless other than for esoteric aesthetics...
