air sus leaking??

i had uas install the bags on my struts so im confident that their work was perfect, but now at full up my left side front/rear leak faster than my right side, but my right side does leak as well,ill keep it full up overnight the next day my car is dumpd, i redid the hose connections and used teflon tape, yet it still leakd and after 6hrs it was again full down what else should i check our change? could it be the hoses im useing?

you have gauges?? they leak like a mother

yes as u can see one in the picture and 2 inside car on controller...im thinking its the cheap ass hose i had to use from home depot

is it dot approved hose? hose is probably the cheapest easiest and also the biggest pain in the ass to replace.

But The ones that came with the kit are, the others aren't,im gonna order some from airrunner tmrw,i say it s partialy leak ing cuz of the hose after I re did one today it leak right off the bag (the hose not the fitting) so hopefully with actul "air hose"it'll be fixed

Take a bottle of soapy water and spray it on the valves and on each bag.  The soap will bubble where the leak is.  Before you buy anything, trouble shoot the issue so you save time.

^ fosho. measure twice cut once. no point in replacing something unnecessary and maybe creating another complication in the system.

While the thought of leaking oil makes people cringe, I prefer it. If I ever were to leak anywhere, I sure as hell could find it right away...

so the soap test faild, pic shows the green needel ( left rear bag at about 100 psi) in video shows the control box right after i sparyd a water soap mix( your looking at the two right most fittings) and the other shows the hose on the bag, not a single bubble. i tested it on my one leak i know i do have so i knew what to look for sooooo? what now this is seriously pissing me off it shouldnt be this hard to find a freaking leak thro i am ordering airrunner hoses for the bags.

it might be at a fitting by the bag or inside the box. i haven't seen one of those box air units in a long ass time, i don't really know the build quality on them. it might be a valve leaking, or somewhere from the tank to the valve. it might be a hose @ right at the fitting. 

if you know what bag it is exactly, then you know which line to trace down. take your time, and just try to hit everything. there's a lot of possibilities of what could be wrong.

its all 4, the left side drops quicker thro. but when i did the soap test on that one bag it would showd that the fitting is leaking,, but y would the bags loose air if its from the tank to the valve? shouldnt it be between the bags and the fitting it connects to?

i'm gonna go out on a limb and go ahead and say it's that control box.

time to start saving for new air source and valves.

edit: you're right, between tank and valve would just lose pressure in the tank. my bad. it could possibly be a myriad of things. it could possibly be the exhaust valve not sealing 100% if you're not finding leaks anywhere else..

lets hope its the box,not things brand new like i wanna spend more than i already have if thats the case my cars sitting for quite a while
 
maby this might help, the circled part is were i can hear air leaking from thats my one deff leak i know of, could that be the problen to my bags looseing air?

Put some teflon tape on all the fittings

I'd say Teflon all the fittings and make sure your hose cuts are straight every time I've dealt with any air leak even when it's not on a car system that has always been an important thing to check you need to have straight cuts usually to avoid leaks. Soap test is usually a great way to check though.

if it is leaking redo it
dont ask if it couhld contribute, every single leak can do something adverse. You need to go through EVERY fitting nad valve and soap test it. Find a leak, dont ask here..just fix it. Air sus isnt cheap, neither is upkeep sometimes. take the plunge, and if it leaks, just replace it after oyu try more teflon tape. check EVERYTHING

The best thing is that Loctite Thread sealer... I forget the exact model of it but I used it on like 4 different air installs and none of my fittings ever leaked... it's expensive though... like $40-$50 a bottle... 
 
Like everyone mentioned... start at the tank fittings and compressors and use the soap water or leak detector liquid and test every fitting... My guess it's in this area because all your bags are leaking.... then redo the fitting... remember to not use too much teflon tape and don't over tighten the fittings...

Is this one of those airbagit all in one control box?  Haven't used them personally but have heard horror stories about the company.  Like what every body said, check each fitting.  If they are the cheap plastic ones, I would replace them with brass, preferably parker.  Use compression fittings instead of PTC's when possible.

As far as thread conditioners, I use Loctite 242 although some people use Loctite 271 which is high strength.

No need to buy airrunner hoses.  You can use any DOT approved air hose.  They can be had for about .50 cents/foot depending on the size but I wouldn't use hoses from home depot.

This will be a good learning experience for you because i think it a "must" that anybody with air suspension on their car should know how to troubleshoot their system.  In the future, try to stay away from this all in one box.  You think you're getting a good deal but end up spending more because you have to replace all the cheap parts that they come with.

Well I knew they werent the best company out their but overtime I wanted to slowy up my system, but thread sealer is next

i mean, it can only leak from so many places......

well good amd bad news, new hoses are in and lockited all the fitting on the control box, so I stop the leak off the compressure and stopd leak on front right bag, but left bags still leak n rear right. should play around with the hoses a bit maby re tape the fittings on the valves or even re cut the hose before putting back in.

this is the easy thing to do... if your sure no leaks from fitting and hoses. 

Take the Right and left side hose on the valve and swap it. if the other side goes down.. its the bag.. 

I have had 2 UAS bags with pin holes on the inside of the bags.. you cant see the leak becuase you will have to take teh bag off and dip it in water.

huh dam good idea I was thinking what if I swap this or that but wasent sure ill deff be trying this today

On the hose that is connected to the head of the compressor, it is called "leader hose" it is supposed to have a one-way valve so air will not leak through the head but it is know to fail at times. This happened to one of my compressors.

well think we can rule that out swapd rear hoses on valve the rear left hose is on my rear right valve still dropd just as fast as it normally did gahhhh

if no leak at fittings and you swapped the hoses.. only one thing left.. bad vavle.. what valves are in your set up..

I have had many of the UAS manifold valve fail.. there is a plunger inside that some times dont seat good.. 

get a plug.. and plug the exh port of the valve.. now no matter what even if you hit teh switch to go down it will stay up.. becuase air has no where to go.. becuase exh port is plugged.  if its still going down you still have a leak somewhere inbetween.. 

or you can just spray soap in the exh port and see if it bubbles

i noticed that in the pic you have manual gauges? so you have an airline behinf the guages.. make sure that has no leaks.. ???

opp just re read this.. there must be a leak between the valve and the bag if it still dropped just a fast on that same side thats been leaking..
