Pooping! haha well done. i think al gore is an idiot. melting glaciers? come on.. anyone notice Ejypt doesn't have water anymore, but did once. And how we use to have a ice bridge where people migrated from the north.. and all the Woolly mammoths we are finding since the ice is melting. Washington was carved by glaciers and not around really anymore. Utah has a salt lake bed which had a lake thousands of years ago, so people had cars and factory's 40k years ago? We have been in industry for a hundred years. Woolly Mammoths lived on top not in ice, so earth is just going back to the way it use to be.

So yes AL Gore is a uneducated dumb ass just like all the other scientists i see on TV talking about how we are ruining the earth. Cause they too think its so complex but the answer is really simple. Yet we all think we cause it and can fix things like we are a god. The Dinosaurs went extinct in a vast way.. so that means they had factory's and huge v8 cars for the masses and heated up the earth and killed all them selves off.

I believe its a cycle we haven't seen before. We haven't been around long enough to see it before so we believe it must be us doing it. We have been here for a short period of recording climate and history time so it has to be us right?? Go green is a gimmick brought on to boost economy for business. To produce green this green that, and give people jobs ect. Green is played out, and its been brain washed into everyone already. When people see the color green on a car, no matter the car they assume its friendly to the environment.. let alone any product that is green for that matter.

plenty of scientists disagree with gore's rather fringe beliefs. it's just taken off like wildfire due to media coverage and his movie. there are plenty of reputable scientists who very much disagree with gore's view on global warming, including head of nasa's goddard institute in new york and a leader in the field of climatology, james hansen.

sorry to make you feel dumber? hope i didnt offend if you like al gore.. cause as we progress through the time, he is becoming more and more proven wrong each day. he is right we have global warming but global warming is cause of the sun expanding and due to more activity, not cause of us. holes in the ozone layer? like the ones we keep punching a hole in sending shit to space? lol here i though ozone layer was a myth. there is videos of mig25s at the edge of space i dont see a thin protective layer there LOL then again they dont go fast enough through the atmosphere to cause it getting hot.

more damage goes to the earth making a prius than making a mercedes s550 and it running. Sulfuric acid does huge damages in making those batteries for it, and where do they go when they get replaced? I think people need to be less wasteful than rather than changing what we have own drive ect as humans. Like Less Candy being eatin so we dont have plastic wrappers all over the place.. or those homes you see where they need to be evac'd cause they have 100 cats and garbage all over. Clean our selves, we clean our world. end rant

not to mention the strip mining required to produce enough lithium for those batteries, which is immediate damage to the earth.

Ok, let me get this straight, BILLIONS of humans, BILLIONS of factory farm animals, poor countries with horrible emissions, and you think we have NO effect on our planet? It's because the sun is expanding?? The holes we keep punching in the ozone (which would be on roughly a scale of a balloon being earth, the "space ship" being 1/10,000th of a pin-head to said ballooon)??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA holy shit I peed myself.

Ok, whatever you say buddy, you obviously got it all figured out.

yup i do :)

to quote from up above please read:

Here is another 2cents on why i think its bs. The gov will let cars 20 years and older be emission free, when those cars were the worst cars to have around. So why do we emission and smog cars that are newer? cause money. It should be opposite like japan. So a country like the big Ol U S of A That is teaching other countries on being green have hybrid cars ect is actually not even practicing what they preach. Til they fix that, then i will believe it. I live in a non emission county, and a emission county. My 69 mach1 was never smogged when it was in cali, now that i am here its still not cause i live in a non smog area. So once again, money. California is bankrupt. Its not about being green, its about making green, and so am I

and to clear up the ozone thing, i was joking. :) like i believe we have a thousand satellites that crowd space that they say we have. if that was the case we would hit them with out own craft.. maybe thats why we stopped the shuttle program LOL

while i think we do impact the world we live in, i don't think we are solely responsible, or even the largest cause of what is being perceived as global warming.

while we are talking about natural causes of global warming, do you really think things such as the deteriorating orbit of the earth and the expansion of the sun have less effect on the earth's climate than what the human beings are doing to it? i guess i'd have to be touched in the head to think otherwise.

There, fixed it for accuracy. The earth is more populated than it ever has been, there are more factory farmed animals on earth than nature ever intended. It's not just "industry" that's destroying the planet, it's the billions of people too.

There's no reason we can't outlast the earth. We have the ability to reason, plan, and create different scenarios for ourselves. The dinosaurs weren't quite that resourceful. However, we'll need to move from earth to a different planet LONG before the sun engulfs it.

Thinking that humans and their actions have no effect on the planet, now THAT is the epitome of arrogance and ignorance.

FLS, can you tell me the CORRECT average temperature the Earth needs to be at?

I mean, if there is such a big problem with global warming, what temperature are we supposed to be at?

Also...ever heard of climate change? Periodic raising and dropping of the average temperature of the Earth?

It is an actual thing that can be tracked, not just theorized about with a number that is supposedly too hot for the world.

Glaciers melting, it happens. But you know what? The world cools off and they start forming again. The Earth was not always in an Ice Age, and it won't always be getting hotter. There'll come an Ice Age again. (not part 4 though)

Don't worry buddy, pretty soon you'll be wishing you had a 4wd truck over a lowered non ice condition driving car.

Sell your car and ride a bike, breathe, fart, create some CO2 and make some trees live a bit longer by converting it into O2 so the rest of us can breathe.

Show your proof of global warming, because the latest trend is to jump ship when scientists who were touting that the world is going to burn up a couple of years ago get asked about it.

^hence why we are finding things buried in ice, its melting back at where it was. maybe we are speeding it up.. but cool we get to uncover a lot more awesomeness! like noah's ark, a dino that we can bring back to life. We keep finding older and older people in the ground too. like kennewick man didnt even look like an indian when the re sculpted him he looked like a European

forgot to add this too thought this was cool. and always thought he looked european. if he is how did he get here 9300 years ago?

Guys, c'mon, seriously. YES, climate change can be traced and tracked. And YES, glaciers have melted and re-formed in the past. BUT, NEVER in 100 years has it happened. NEVER. It has always taken THOUSANDS, not 100 years to happen. This is the fastest climate change in history, based on sample ice cores and other data that can date back millions of years.

Grow up, and accept reality. Humans have an effect and an impact on the planet we live on, any one who denies it may as well say the Pope is Muslim too. I'm not saying climate change is bad, I like that fact that last Monday we set records for heat and today it's raining and cold it's completely "normal" haha:runcoold:

It isn't like within 100 years (industrial age) we started polluting and the world started melting.

We have polluted but a drop in a bucket compared to all the volcanic activity that has happened since the formation of the Earth's atmosphere.

There are wars to stop...those things will destroy mankind a helluva lot quicker than a bit of pollution and not being 'green.'

What do YOU do to be 'green?'

Obviously you pollute, with your V8 gas guzzling M45. I'm greener than you, because I've only got a 6 cylinder GS300, that I only drive on weekends, because I drive a 4 cylinder LEV (Low Emissions Vehicle) CRV, with no A/C.

(Don't get mad, I'm just joshin' ya!)

I do pollute with my gas guzzling M45, BUT, I drive 2.5 miles to work and just filled my tank for the 1st time in 3 weeks. So, although I do drive a gas guzzler, I offset it by driving short distances. If I had to drive 20+ miles to work, I'd probably have something else, then again, maybe not.

All I'm saying is global warming is real, and we humans have an impact on it. Last Monday we had record heat in Los Angeles, then barely a week later, we had record rain-fall yesterday. Normal? I don't think so.

And George Carlin was the man, RIP. Disney Cars is such a great movie, and sadly the last for George Carlin and Paul Newman. Whenever I watch it w/ my son I get all sad at the end.

How does Global Warming exist? What temperature are we supposed to be at, that proves that earth is warming? Climate changes do exist, but global warming implies that the average temperature is rising, with no implication of it ever dropping. That is not the case though, as the average temperature has at least plateaued, and in some places even dropped.

Global warming is a farce. Besides, even if the average temperature raises everywhere, we've proved we can live in WAY more hostile climates than most live in now. Besides, I'm betting that another cooling period will happen before we hit some sort of disasterous point of no return climate. By then, we'll have established colonies on the Moon and Mars, and be sufficient in controlling our own climates in biospheres.
