Well it's finally that time

trying to get me some coilovers. just tossed an offer on ebay for some megans...hope they bite. time to put this camry in the weeds.lol

are you 4/6 cyl?
depending on what engine configuration youre at, you will be blowing coilover struts monthly. what kind of spring rates do they come with? 7kg/mm front and 4/5 kg/mm in the rears?

I'm trying to find me some coilovers for my LS too, good luck!

charley i have a 3SGTE up front. 4 cylinder turbo. and yeah they are around those spring rates. there is one other dude whose on a same setup in his camry and he hasn't blown anything granted he's at the stock 4 cyl about 60 lbs lighter up front and there is a guy with a celica alltrac coilover set in his camry alltrac that hasn't blown anything yet either.  I'll see how it goes with mine being slammed if that causes it to blow. i thought since these were initially designed for a celica i'd have an issue but i'll see.

well it seems showstoppersusa is giving me the run around. i shoulda did a google search first.  I woulda bought my coilovers else where. I arranged with them to buy my coilovers and pay my own shipping on 10/26/10...they had no issue processing the payment on 10/26/10...i even found out what time of the day they have their ups pickup and sent them the label before then. hours before on 10/26/10...
 
Now still nothing on 10/29/10.  So tomorrow i'll try to reverse the payment with my bank and look elsewhere for coilovers. smh @ myself for not using google first. I would've found out that only thier local customers actually get parts and customer svc. this sets me back another week. they woulda been on the car this coming tuesday had they sent them out on time.  The best response they could give me is "ups might be running a bit slow with scanning the pkg into their system"  Fuck that. they can have fun tracking down the coilovers now.  I'll get my money and go elsewhere.

i blow coilovers just about every 6months now. how much does the car weigh?

sucks to hear about that. with the economy going slow, it SEEMs that there is a lot of shady business' around now just to make a buck or two.

probalby weighs 2900lbs with this swap. they finally did send the coilovers out on the 29th but they were giving me the run around before then. I guess my fb status tagging them and a few forum posts got things moving. I dunno. I just wanna get these things on already...
