converting from JDMism

hello every one, im josh. im coming over from the jdm world because being fast is getting too expensive. i know this must be a stupid statement considering that vip requires luxury cars, thousand dollar wheels/aero/, paint and suspension. but it seems as a hobbie as to which i wont be having to replace the same part 4 times a month because of the abuse that goes into my car. i just sold my integra beause my wire harnesd/ecu fried, and quite frankly ive had enough. as of now i dont have a car(worth mentioning) but im trying to stack up and get something nice with vip potential. im actually thinking of a getting a legend or RL. i know to you guys its not vip but i want to stay close to my Honda roots lol. ill be keeping an eye on your classifieds :werd2:

+1 a RL is a great choice may not be a "platform" but who cares....if done right they can hang with any platform car IMO

I'm not sure what to think about your intro...Haha...you'll be replacing tires like crazy, VIP is not cheaper than "JDMism", and the RL is a tight ride if done right. Welcome to VSC

lol well one thing i do know is that it doesnt require putting so much stress on the motor on a daily basis as i did my integra. replacing tires is better than an ECU and a wire harness, only 3 days after replacing the headgasket IMO

Im with speed your intro is funny. what you paid in your go-fast parts will just turn around and go into tires/wheels/susp.... SUSP, if you do this proper its not economical at all. When you ride low things break, just like when you go fast things break. Only difference is your heart will beat faster out of worry than excitement haha.

you just traded one money pit for another bro, WELCOME =)

1) It always costs lots to make really slow cars fast.
2) If you build it right it shouldn't be an issue
3) Unlike tuners, in VIP even if you DO build it right you will be breaking ish and replacing it.
4) The biggest difference is if you half ass it in VIP you don't just pay more like usual, but you get laughed at too.

G/L and welcome
