Crown Majesta 140

What do you guys think of the 140?  They are available for import to Canada now and so I am looking at them.   They are a little on the small side but otherwise very nice styling for the year. I actually like the smoother lines compared to the Celsior 10/11  I think it has the same 1UZ.

I think a while ago i saw a pic of black crown majesta with F50 guttling HID projector in its headlight, it is so off the hook, still one of my fav crown majesta, and there is another dude in japane who did a ucf30 celsor front and rear conversion

how much do they go for (imported)?

price I will need to look into more. They were 100,000 yen on yahoo auctions.  1000 bucks?? Can this be right?

Yep, at 15yrs they are getting a bit long in the tooth for most Japanese people. But its also the registration system that makes it less attractive for them. But you are lucky Australia changed the import rules - we tend to go mad for these 15yr old cars and it was plainly obvious that a yr or 2 ago, UCF11 Celsior prices were artificially high ('89 and '90 model celsiors were more expensive on auctions than '91 and upwards cars)... then after the rule change they went back down again!

I say go for it. Definitely my favourite Toyota from that period, and they look absolutely sick when widebodied. Get the turbo variant if you want to get good resale out of it. You know how all those drift0rz love turbo RWD cars!!
