F50 performance

I posted in nissan/infiniti but will post here too, maybe some one can help

Hi everyone, Chicago member here I just recently found my password and  id as i have been skimming on here for a while. I am a 2002 F50 owner  and am going to start VIP modding this winter and also do a complete  change to my stereo. Now my forum topic is what do I need to do to take  the governors lock(or motor limitation) off to achieve the full speed of  the dash. It slows it self down at about 130mph. And also what  performance mods have other owners done? (Intakes? Turbos? Intercoolers? Superchargers?  Exuast?) I would like a throaty exaust sound  but only if i really like floor it, as i would like to keep the stock  or quiet sounding most of the time. Any suggestions? Thanks

you can try hks' speed limit and fuel cut "defencers", although those feel like a hacky method to me. there are cats who can reprogram stock ecu's to get rid of speed and fuel cuts, but i don't know if anyone's successfully played with the f50 ecu. you're kinda on your own with this

The car is electronically limited to 150 MPH and it's already got 340hp, I can't really imagine you need to go any faster. 

As for exhaust, I had the center section removed and made into dual w/ an equalizer tube, and the rear muffler is Magnaflow SS. It sounds like the new Mercedes Gullwing, seriously, it sounds bad ass, but with the windows up you can't hear it on the freeway. (BTW if you're wondering why I'm saying this when I don't have an F50 Q, the Y34 M is the same engine, exhaust and almost same suspension)

Is there a way to delete one of my threads? And I've been searching for custom mods for the performance of the F50 and it seems no one has done it except for a company that is now Beverly Hills Lambo. And they only made like 8 supercharged F50's. I know I have a heavy sedan but I didn't plan on racing the car, I just wanted it done just to have it since I'm going to be pretty much modding everything else.

Its just the begining.......:biggthumpup:- G-O-W-N, maybe not a buck fiddy n e more but def a 10-15'' coming soon. (the 15 might be a bit oversized in the trapeziod space.

Most mods will void your warranty.

Don't mod your f50 because its not meant to be fast. If you want speed then buy a motorcycle.
It's a waste of money to want to mod a heavy gas guzzling car.

Don't mod the f50 lol it's not meant to be fast lol. I dunno mine is hella fast faster than most 350z.  I guess I should by a motor bike cause it would be a waste. Just like The turbo ls430. Or those Honda civics who put turboson so they can beat super cars or the other cool kids in the crowd. Any one can buy a bike to go fast, only a few can make a car faster than a bike
