help with air! valve problems

hey guys. i need some help with my valves right now.
so first off, i have 8 SMC valves running for my air suspension.
before my problem happened, the RF bag would deflate from about 60-0 over a period of 4 or 5 hours. it wasnt a big deal then.

then i installed 2 one-way check valves. i did this so my bags would stay inflated, even though i empty the tank. ever since i did this, the RF bag would self inflate itself.
it would go from 0-150 in a period of 4-5 hours.

what i think the problem is is my RF inflate valve. could it be not closing all the way and allowing air from my tank to seep through?
i thought about it, but how did it go from self-deflate to self-inflate?

any help is appreciated. especially from the pro's.

sounds like the inflate valve is probably sticking and not closing completely, or the valve seal is bad. should be a relatively easy fix, just replace the one valve.

That's what my first guess would be.  You can take a part the SMC valves very easily.  There should be 4 screw/bolts that keep everything together.  In between the two halves is the diaphragm.  It may need to be replaced or even the smaller orifices in the valve body itself may be clogged.

So u guys think it's the inflate valve? What could have caused the self deflate before? Could both valves be leaking?

the valve sticks open so it equalizes with the tank.

assuming you have checked for leaks then yes, i would blame the valve.

Sure the bag aint leaking , only way to check is either remove the bag put it in water or you can get a ball valve from home depot connect it to that line air it up and shut the ball valve then you will know if it is the bag or valve

If it is the valve just take it apert im sure there is some kind of obstruction

bag is inflating, not deflating.

took apart the 2 valves that inflate, and i see some sludge in there. not much at all. probably a few spots. cleaned it up today and hopefully it fixes the problem. thanks guys

a half mm opening is more than enough to create a leak.

hmm thats true. my setup is new too. probably 3-4 months old

do you have any water traps? and if you do, you might want to drain them. might want to drain the tank too.
