honda accord..?

drive a 2005 accord coupe.. slammed on coils as well as have a lip kit on.. have few questions
1. how can acquire more camber?(besides getting bags)
2. does anyone make camber plates for these cars?
3. what are ur suggestions?
. soon planning on getting some wide wheels but not sure what width i can make fit. if anyone have any info help!.

ill answer #3, airrunner & nice 20's TIS wheels and head over to the forum honda-tech.com and post in the "Appearance / Cosmetic" they will love it once you're done.
you will be needing plasma cutter, tig welder, industrial metals and a creative mind.
put it all together!

i just got coilvers so its going to be a while till i get air suspension.. for now i am looking into some wide/lowoffset wheels as well as where to get camber plates or something to get more camber!

You might be able to fit some camber kits and plates from another honda, since hondas are like legos and are almost all interchangeable...
As for wheels, one of the friends just fit a 18x8 / 9 +0 ! on his accord and only had to roll and slightly pull. I know he got his wheels from fetchvip.com so try and hit them up and see what they say... good luck I always respect people doing cars besides the norm ...

c'mon man if you want camber get a INGALS kit all around. look for the +/- 3 degree kit, take it to the allignment shop and tell them ''i want -2 deg. in front and -3deg in back." 

for wheels get 18x9s with a loooooooww offeset

thanks.. how can u figure out what's the widest and the lowest offset wheels u can fit on a car?...asked bunch of wheels shops but they seems to recommend normal wheels sizes like 18 by 7.5.. i guess they dont wanna modify the fenders if i order the wheels from them.. anyone?

well thats the hard part, being that the 05 accord isnt the most popular platform to apply the widest wheels. basically in this case, the phrase ''GOTTA PAY TO PLAY" comes in effect. meaning not only do you have to throw down for a BADA$$ set of wheels but you MAY have to go as far as adding widebody or a flare treatment to cover a wheelset that you have overcompensated for even with pulled fenders!!

f fi were you look at what the 5th gen (94-95) accord run on pulled fenders,with camber,with stretched tire.
--to be honest with you  i would run 18x9 with +20's offset 215/40/18 tires. but pLEASE dont take my word, its only a suggestion-ihave never owned a 05 acc coupe.

if your going to take a chance, get a set of wheels that people here like so yuo can resell if you must bail out!!

AND DONT LISTEN TO  LOCAL TIRE SHOPS OR EVEN TIRE RACK/DISCOUNT TIRE. THEY HAVE TO OBEY STOCK/FACTORY SUGGESTIONS SO THEY ARE NOT LIABLE.

If it was me, i would check the wheel well spacing and the walls in your car etc etc then try measuring x8 x9 width wheels maybe that will help you out.

If you want VIP then go get a VIP platform, I can't see how Accord or Dodge or anything like that can be VIP, Maybe VIPstyled, But not True VIP.....So IMHO that was no low blow comment, just one of true VIP nature. ::)

Maybe it's in the wrong section? I'll move it to the wheel and suspension section....

stretched tire size for a wheel which is a 17 by 8 or 9 as well as stretch tire for a 18 by 8 or 8.5? please help

Easiest way to see what will fit/not fit is to [B]try it[/B]. .My  usual Method is to remove the dampers/springs (coilovers or whatever. .) so that you will have unrestricted movement of the suspension. . Put jackstands under the suspension and lower the car to see the wheel/fender relationship . .  
  
THEN you call some homies with S13's etc.. up. .and try thier shit on. . I pretty much guarantee you can fit 9's with a VERy low offset on that car.. you can fit 9's on a civic. . (i've put +18) so 10's and low offset should not be a problem. .im thinkin like a 235/225-35-19 would look sick. .  . .
 
It is easier without tires so that you can see what tire you need to tuck it into the fender. . you can visualize the stretch .. .  If you have a camber kit at this time.. then you can play with the settings to see where you want the wheel to sit etc.... I am assuming you will be rolling the fenders. .  other wise you shouldn't be reading this. . Without tires it is easy to see how much you will need to roll/pull the fenders.. Depending on your fender contour, you can usually pull about 10mm (after flattening the lip) without fucking up the looks of the actual fenderline. . . If you cannot do this.. or dont know how to mod fenders.. get someone who has done it before.. (again .. someone with a "drift car") BUT make sure you see his/her work. . We dont want an '05 accord looking like a $2000 shitbox. . 

Tell them to be consevative with the pulling .. OR only flatten the lip. . I have had lots of success with rolling lips completely flat on new cars. .the key is HEAT and PATIENCE. . if you keep the metal and paint very warm/hot (use a heat gun). . and roll slowly.. you can roll it flat and not crack the paint. . This saves you lots of $$$ in refinishing. . that you can put toward the rims..  

Last thing. . . . dont listen to single minded people who only do things others have done. . do you own thing..
