Let it begin
Ok for those who dont know, the Lancer was a total loss due to flood damage. :signdammit: gonna miss my car. First new car i ever owned and longest owned too. Well, still gotta do the family thing so family helped me out with a 95 LS400. Its in decent condition and all. Well The mods have begun but on a save money, pay off debt with companies and friends first funds lol.
First mod.......

10k HID kit (free******)
9005 3k fog lights (yellow free)
Rear Muffler Delete (free with an hour of upside down removal lol)
Future Mods:
Coilovers
Custom Exhaust
25% all around tint
L.E.D. interior lights
Wheels (19" or 20")
Just basic because the wife dont want me spending millions on it. lol Like I really got all that.
Especially being a student, full time worker, 3 kids at home and husband, yeah real rich lol.
More pics on the way. Opinions are open

10k HID? Do you drive at night? If so, you just cut down the light output by about half. I would seriously suggest 6000 k at the most but it's your car so...
Other than that, you're pretty much on the same road I toook when I first picked up my LS.
Keep us posted.

10000 k in that housing, light output must be close to none.

If you are getting a clunking noise it may be rear axle carrier bushings, trailing arm bushings or strut rod bushing. These are pretty common wear items on the LS400 but you may already know from owning a 1st gen LS.

check mybushings.com there is like 5-10% off the first order...i think i spend like 100 or so for everything. You save like 200 if you do the labor yourself. You need to find someone with a hydrolic press to press the old ones out and new ones in for the front, the rest are kinda easy.

btw it makes a huge difference IMO. I changed those 1st thing when I bought my car then got the megans about 1 month later and the feel is solid. It felt like my alignment was off and a little floating as well as the clunking but now its good. GL

The rears are at the lowest setting, fronts can go more. 19x9/10 and 0/+12 offsets. conservative is around +20 offset, flush. +15-0 slight poke. 0 to -X is a lot of poke and needs pulling. I would go 19's. I have 20's and they were too big...18's are small for this large of a car unless you run like 18x11 and 18x12. IMO

so a buddy of mine had some work wheels from a supra that were discontinued. So here's the pics btw gonna lower the car more when we return from vegas. Wheels are 18x9 front and 18x10 rear
interior after shampoo
What you think?
I am already gonna get some 10mm spacers for the front and 15-20mm to pull that rear

installed and now sounds like a real V8 car. Two magnaflow truck racing mufflers. Deleted all four stock mufflers from cat back. quiet when you idle and only heard if you mash on the pedal. Love it.

wheels are aight. meister s2r. i'd stay actively looking for something better though.
mufflers i do not like. round mufflers remind me of ricey civics (not saying that all civics are ricey).
cllean engine bay is a must.

Ride is looking clean man. I like the progress thus far. Little bigger wheels would suit it nicely.
