#359635New Guy coming to SOCAL
Well I have been living in Japan since 1992 with the exception of 3 years in Hawaii from 04-07. I am currently in Kyushu but moving to San Diego next week. I started in the race scene in Yokohama/Tokyo back in 93 when the drift and drag race scene was insane and built one of the fastest R31's ever made. RB26 swap, T88 turbine, blah blah blah. Pics of it can be found here: http://www.velocity.isfaster.com/okinawa/fergy/index.htmlWell I sold it when I went to Hawaii and picked up a Dodge Magnum that I brought back with me to Japan and sold two years later. Since then, I haven't been doing much with cars but have been on the lurk for what I wanted next.
I decided to pick up a 03 M45 I found online in SOCAL, (love the lines on that car) and hope to have it registered before the end of the year. I don't plan on doing anything drastic at first but eventually hope to get wheels, air, and perhaps paint. It already has a decent body kit from Japan.
I have a wealth of Japan information so if anybody has any questions, don't hesitate to ask. The VIP scene is still going strong in Japan but the race scene has all but died. At least in Kyushu anyways. Looking forward to becoming a regular poster on the board.
Ferg.
