I'm a newbie and ive donated to the site but why....

Cant I do some thing like see picture in threads. My privileges are so limited, why I'm want to be a all out VIP member. Any help or advise will help, I'm trying to do a makeover on my 3rd gen es300 that I've been having for 7 years now, I'm the second owner and I love that Lexus.  I also have a s14 zenki for my track car but now I'm just trying to sweeten up the es. All the help would me great. Thanks, Mike

As far as privileges, they are earned over time.  We want members who will stay and contribute to the forums.  Being 101 limits places you can post, but you can still read things and learn.

I its a Camry  made over ... dont waste your money .. get a GS or a LS if you want to waste your money :dance:.. at least  do it with some class ..

huh. that's weird bro. I donated $1000 to VSC years ago when I first joined. John threw a parade in my honor that lasted an entire weekend! I thought he rolled out the same welcome wagon for everyone...

Certain posts contain pictures which the user uploaded directly to the site rather than on a picture hosting site.  Because of that, you need to click on the pictures to be able to see them. If the picture was uploaded on say photobucket, you would be able to see the pic appear on the thread without having to click on it

Yeah I was thinking about picking up a gs or a ls but I have a 09 range rover im working on to get it g'd out and I have a s14 finishing up that's been in my shop for 8 years or longer now, yes that long, but can't do nothing when you caught up in the system. I been having this es300 for a long time and I just want to do some nice cosmetic upgrades to it just to show people around my way it can look really good ya know. Believe me if I can get a 04-06 ls 430 I would love to but I'm just gonna work on what I got or maybe I'll just sell the es. Who knows, thanks guys for all your inputs. Can't wait to put some pics of my range when it's all done.

Post up some pictures of your current and past projects and show us what you are working with. You say you have had your s14 for 8 years. I'm sure you have something to offer to our community.

When you're looking for information, inspiration, or parts for your es300, use the term 'Windom.' Thats the model name of the es300 in Japan (well older ones anyway) so they call it a Toyota Windom. Another thing that might help, the chassis code. I don't know them all, but I know one of them is 'VCV10' and another is 'VCV11' depending on the year you have. There might be more for the newer generations of es300.

If you like the es300, then do it. Who cares what other people think. Especially canadians (hahaha kidding). But for real, build the car that you like in your style. Thats the beauty of car modification, art in motion.

wrd. as much as i love the styling on range rovers, everything WILL crap out on you. i'd only buy one if i were beaucoup rich, not just 'able to afford' one.
