the flares actually make the body look much more sleek to me. widens it out and gets ride of some of the 'bubbleness' at first i thought it was something else with f50 headlights.

one of my customers came in today and hes gettin a phantom soon. i showed him the pic and tried to convince him to go for it. hes brought me like 8 cars and his best friend is ryan from west coast customs. he alwasy has all the asanti and strut stuff on all his rides. we might get lucky and have one of these here in the states

I don't know if that JP car is chopped. If it is, it's done really really well, all the pixels are matched perfectly and nothing is out of place.

If you want to get "technical", which you did...that Rolls isn't either.  But to those of us who know better and don't care what Taketomi thinks...we know what's vip and what isn't.  Give it some time..maybe you'll get it.  And BTW, it's totally chopped.  I have the actual pictures of it and it was a 4x4 by our terms.

I prefer it on the k-breaks, by a long shot. The Weds setup doesn't do nearly as much for me.

i have modified my opinion of the blue ls. very nice foundation wise, very aweful styling wise.

Wrd, they're nice but expensive doesn't always mean great. The F50 however is pretty bad ass.  I've only seen the first pic before so I though the black faces was more of a lighting thing. I'd like to see it on polished maybe even chrome faces.

it's not just the  blue. it's more the black actually. i don't like the wheels, don't like the lights, don't like the leds, the hood logo looks like a**. i think silver would have been a much better accent color.

^ I have always wanted to see one with a custom widened grill. The stock one seems too narrow for the width of the car. Maybe its just me, but I always catch myself staring at it, in a bad way.

I like how this one is clean and simple...

I think the whole camber thing is fun. It comes down to the point of you get bored with what everyone else is doing as a trend and you just go crazy. I want to try it my self some day just to see it haha Is it practical? hell no, but its fun. Most people think its daily driven that way and it isnt.

I know if we all started doing it, there would be a new law against it. Kinda like how Hawaii is gay for its modification stuff.

My boy works for Dell may have to look into this. He has the touch screen one. But that swivel screen seams hot.

I wanted one for the longest nd I was gonna get one last year until I did some research on regular maintenance costs & on some other problematic items... basically I couldnt really afford it... food for thought.

but I am a Honda head and will always be one at heart and no matter how succesful (God willing) I am in life there will always be a Honda parked in my garage.

I got you... well, I'll tell you how I happened to do the "research"... checking craiglist found one like 2 hours north of Dallas, so it was a good 5 hour drive to go pick it up, nonetheless, it was selling for $17k or 16k, but something like that, so I'm scheming cuz they usually go for like 30k... so the next morning I go to talk to the dude who owns the shop that works on my cars (they specialize on NSXs btw) & tell him that I need him to go with me check the car out & possibly bring it back... I tell him the price & he tells me that it's unreal, especially if it has a clean title, then I tell him that all we gotta do is replace the clutch (as per cl ad) which is usually no biggie on any car -or so I thought- nd since we're at it that we might as well get a excedy stage 3 or something gnarly... nd this is when heartbreak happened, he told me -nd he always hook me up- that the least he could charge me was like $1,500 for labor alone... nd I'm looking at this dude like is u crazy nga, nd he then proceeded to tell me all the quirks & ins nd outs of the car & the ridiculous prices that HAVE to be charged along with the mark up for "supercar" parts... I think it was 22 hours to change the clutch alone... so I moved on from the desire of owning one, lmao... nd I used to thnk that my TT 300zx was akward to work on, lol...

it really is sad we dont have roads to support this. That style cant ever have adjustable.. it wouldnt look right with the wheel gap at ride height..  Which again, is sad :( Cause I want to achieve this with my car but the only way i can think of is getting close but doing cups on coils.

This car is not fucking around!!! Color is badass. I had a gixxer that I painted a similar color. Ok I have to stop typing now so I can go back and look at this car some more.

How are they riding so low and not fucking up their fenders...

I just dont know, i couldnt do anything except highway driving and basic cruising, roads there are too good.

Fenders?? I'm curious as to how much work is put in underneath to ride like that.

stiff ass coils.

on our chassis i don't think there is too much done to achieve this ride height. maybe some modafication for the front frame to fit the wheels in there, but the rears should just be an agressive adjustable arm setup.

Maybe they are using skid plates? Haven't had any serious problems, prolly cause I'm not riding low enough.

Like I have stated: raise the engine up with spacers as high up as it can go. Use stiffer mounts so it doesn't rub on anything. Raise subframe up like 326 power does will help. These are all basic things. Sadly on the f50 and maybe y33 the rear floor pan sits lower than the sides of the car

damn oscar that shit is sick...as for that y33...i doubt with all the work they put into these top cars over there, they simply use a skid plate...raised subframe, stiff suspension, full tubs.  obviously my car isnt as low as the guys over there, but i can say that stiff coils + tubbed fenders = no rubbing, in the rear at least...

They also aren't DD these cars.....

and those were covers that you can buy for the side mirrors. we're gonna cut into the oem side mirror and retrofit the leds on my car though.
