Help: Where in 909/626 can I stretch my 215's tires on 10's?
Hey guys, I need help in finding a shop that does a good job and is willing to stretch 215/40 tires on 10's.
I called TIRE CENTRAL, but the guy on the phone indicated that if I wanted to stretch the tires there I would have to wait til Tuesday because they are too busy to do it today.
I'm hoping to stretch the tire by today or tomorrow.
My current setup... 18x10 - XD9's wrapped on 225/40 Falken Ziex (all around)
Any help would greatly be appreciated.
Thanks!!!

215/40 is gnarly on a 10J dude... I did that before and had exposed barrel. Go to the truck stop place on the corner of Peck and Rush. There's a big mexican dude there who is willing to do it. FWIW Tire Central couldn't bead my 215's but I took it back there to get balanced.

Try JC Auto House in Temple City/Rosemead.

a little far, but oscar at city tire can probably do it -- they're in south gate. $15 or $20/wheel depending on how difficult it is to get the tire on

I've got my 215's installed already. Becuase of its reputation, I decided to drive out to South Gate (City Tire). They have stretched 285 on Chris Foesberg's 20x13 it's shown on their website (

I asked the guy how long he has been working there and he said that he has been there for 21 years and has been stretching tires for quite some time. It was denitely worth the drive. They took care of my rims. Good customer service. I will be back there on Wednesday afternoon to do the rear tires.
Here are some pictures...

Thanks guys for all the feedback!!! I appreciate, Thank you.
