Kleid vs Klaud (Question about available specs)

There are two wheels that always seem to catch my eye: the SSR Vienna Kleid and the Amistad Klaud

I like them both, so the deciding factor will be the specs / fitment I'm looking for. I goto SSR's website, and the available specs are easy to find (http://www.ssr-wheels.com/wheels/wheelchart.asp?id=10&size_id=6&keepThis=true&) But when I goto Amistad's website, I got nothing. Does anyone know where I can find a sizing / spec chart or something similar for the Amistad Klaud's in 20 inch? Also, does anyone know if either can come in a stepped lip? This is going to be for my G50 project 45Revolver

Thank you very much!!!!! Appreciate it!!!

Looks like 20x10 front and 20x11 rear gives me a good range of offset's, disks, and lip sizes to choose from for both manufacturers. Now it's time to decide on offsets, lips, and finish. Cheeeeee

Mahalo again! :yahoo_101:

The Amistad looks great! I especially like the fact that the Valve Stem uses one of the "bolt" holes. I also see that you are from the 808....looking forward in seeing your ride in person with the her new shoes.

Sup Yoshi! I met you before when I used to have a UCF10, I picked up a set of Work Euroline S2H's from you. Right now I'm workn on a G50, got JIC's installed and currently fitting a set of Wald Duchatelet's 19x10 f/r (daily driver wheels/tires) and workn on getting all the multilinks replaced with SPL parts. In March the car will be going into the shop for Airsus (Cups), Kouki President Conversion, Fenderwork, Kit, and Paint all one time. Hopefully I'll be able to make at least one cruise or show here in Hawai'i before the car is shipped out (middle of 2011) it's going to Cali via boat, then I'm driving it to Texas (Houston) and leaving it at my moms place while I go work overseas in Germany for a few years. See you around!!!

Yeah it seems for both types, the 20" wheel offers way more options as far as width, lips, and offsets. Tho it might be possible to call em up and order a custom set of 18's or 19's with some extreme specs. I might have to try and call em anyway to see if I can get stepped lips on any of these wheels.

If you want a "chicken or the egg" answer...the Amistad's came first and still look the best. They were one of my top two choices before I finally decided on the Waffe's.

Wish I had your money to be picking those Amistad's in 20s!!

I think they look better too...but could be the angle of the pic.

I actually like the SSR wheel better because of the lug cover.

The SSR wheel has 10 spokes where the Amistad wheel has 9. Also, the SSR spokes are slightly thinner. Same style but the differences change the way each wheel looks

Thanks for posting up the Klaud spec sheet! Im just in the process of ordering my set this week. I see no High disk is avail, so LOW on the front of an LS430 will clear the calipers i hope? and SLOW on the rears. Does anyone know what the number in brackets after the offset means? I cant translate that bit. Regards Pete

I believe the number in the parentheses refers to the size of the lip in mm.
