help

i'll probably get the use search for this answer. it may even be the wrong site to ask on, but last night it snowed here in georgia. i was on my way home and ended up hitting a curb coming down the hill in front of my neighborhood and a blew a tire and bent a wheel on my q45. my car is completly stock. i have a chance to get a set of 17x9 wheels with 275 tires all the way around, my question is will these fit with those tires? its a 1999 q45t. thanks

i would say since you have to spend money anyway you might as well just buy legit wheels now. normally i agree that suspension should come first but sometimes circumstances change priorities.

cant sell any of my other cars. my ms6 was my daily until the rear end broke, now its just sitting while i gather parts to build. when that happened i remembered we had my grand mother's q45 stored in alabama, when she died since we had no need for it at the time. so i picked up the q45 for my dd. my 91 mustang is my street/strip toy, i already promised my nephews when they both get older i would give it to them to race so i cant sell it. it was also their dads car, so its kind of special to them. the 65 is a full project that was a gift from my grand dad on my 18th bday, that he bought to replace my 66 that was stolen and i had been working on it since i was 12. i would feel bad about selling a gift. the taco is a full blown rock crawler that ive had for sale for a year now and had nothing but flakes.

the wheels are cobra r's with brand new nitto tires, i can get them for 350. since i will reuse the wheels later on my mustang i thought why not. i dont have the money right now for legit wheels, but i just made the price of the wheels selling some parts from an old project a week ago. plus i have to finish some of my other projects before i start on the Q.
