New Guy from Tucson UCF10

Hey guys, 

A little bit about myself. I've been saving my whole life for a car and finally bought my first one. LS400. Kind of been lurking this site for a while lol thought i'd post. So  I'm just getting into the VIP scene and loving my LS. I've only had the car for a few weeks now and I know my setup isn't typical but heres what its got right now. I've been enjoying all the awesome rides on this site and I hope I can contribute in the future. Let me know what you think :)

imo sportier wheels only look good on big body sedans when they're super concave. nothing bad about your car, but nothing that really stands out either. and lose the blogroll on the back.

Drop it about another inch or two, loose the stickers on back (IMO stickers look best when they're uniform, I have 3 stickers on back glass: 1 for the crew, 2 for the local shop, all are the same width and same material) and you're off to a great start. Myself, I like sporty wheels, I think they look good, just needs lower.

Thanks Everybody! Saw alot of comments about the stickers.......Yeah I just thought it would be fun to throw a few stickers on there. Gonna be taking them off once I get back to the car in a few months. Also I'll be going lower. I only had 2 weeks to work on the car so the stance isn't where I want it to be right now, gotta adjust the preload on the megans to drop the spring a little bit more.  :)

Well its highly unlikely you've seen it because its in california right now :( I haven't seen that GS yet (don't have a car stuck on campus) I went to a meet @ kyoei and met jin and cesar who pretty much changed my life lol. He actually told me about you on VSC.com I'd love to go to any Tucson VIP meets when/ where are they?

im assuming the car is in san jose, or the bay area since you have a VEX sticker

Haha I am the VIP scene in tucson. everything else is Hondas or Drifters.
I usually don't go to many meets, can't deal with some of the crowds.
But there are 3 other cars, one was the gs that was recently sold actually and a 1GS that is under construction. and a Nissan President that was mine but the current owner is a d-bag and let it get impounded. longs story.

Looks like you got a clean chassis to start with atleast for a car that age!  Good luck with the build. Up for the hometown!

Oh yeah ive seen alot of hondas down here even an r32 skyline once!. im sorry to hear there isnt a bigger vip scene but id still love to help get it started or go to meets so if there is anything ever going on please let me know! That totally sucks about your president, those are sweet cars!

YEAH! RPF1's FTW that sbc color is sex. yeah im gonna be doing more mods this summer so ill keep everyone posted! I'd love to see what your element looks like do u have any links to pics of it?

Just wanted to say welcome and congrats on the buy the car looks like a a good platform to build from and just remember one thing do to your car what you want to and that way they wont all look a like and everyone will have something to say but as long as you are happy with your car do what you want . I'm looking forward to seeing it transform and good luck :biggthumpup:

Thanks for the warm welcome! Ill definitely keep you posted on the progress, but progress will be slow until summer time. Nice Q45 in your avatar! is that yours?

yessir thats mine its still a work in progress but its getting there and I will keep an eye out for you on the boards to see what direction you go with the car the main thing is just enjoy it for yourself and it will come together

lol yeah workin on it. ive been told about adjusting the preload on the rears because they maxed out quickly. I'll post up more pics post lower-er-ing lol.

Thanks Lol. Its good to hear about another LS person in Tucson. We can mob up to the Kyoei meets rollin all the way outta Tucson lol. If I see any good looking LS's on craigslist ill send some links your way.
