Wheel adaptors
Hiya, i noticed on a indonesian forum, that some hondas have carlson wheels on them. The stud pattern on some of these cars was 4 stud:- 4x100 whcih is the pattern. I know that mercedes fittament is 5x112. Basiacally i was wondering what kind of wheel adaptors these cars were using and if possibl, where i can get a set for my honda.

if those honda are running adaptors , then their adaptors are most likely custom made by individual machine shops that are aware of the car modification scene. you can probably locate these shops by searching on auction websites like ebay or look into catalogues of H&R and other makers of adaptors and find the application you need

u should also keep in mind that these adapters are ususaly at least an inch thick. so that will throw your offset on the wheel. so if you plan on going for a deep dish look u will not get it with the adapter. but for a full face style wheel it would work

im guessing that the hondas that you saw had the 5lug conversion done using the standard 5x114 pattern. i believe you can get the carlson wheels in that pattern. if not i have seen some wheels having the orignal pattern drilled out to accomodate patterns that are closely related like a 5x112 into a 5x114

nezumimaru: Ah, thanks for explaining a few different ways that it maybe done. I know about the hr adaptors, but unfortunatley they dont do a 4x100 to 5x112 5 stud conversion which is a majoy bummer. ;)
ua2: I was planning on some E class 17 inch wheels to go on my Honda as they are monoblock and are flat faced, thanks again for the info
