Wheel lip repairing help!
All 4 of my wheels have curb rash from the previous owner and i was wondering if anyone ever attempted to repair their own wheel before? I know some other forums talking about sanding them down and re-polish them and what not but i think on 2 of my wheels it might have some a tiny bit of metal shaved off. Any suggestions? or Source new lips?

I just refinished mine.... Had some curbage on it from the previous owner... Took a grinder to the chunks that were jagged. Then sanded everything down.

My wheels are chrome with a few nicks from mounting and b.s. I'm planning on grinding down the sections that are nicked and removing the chrome with aircraft stripper. For polishing, should I just wetsand like a mofo with 1000 paper going up to 2000? I saw your thread SCweet 1 and your wheels came out really nice!

What if my lip might need a tiny bit of metal filling...? BTW my chrome is already peeling out on the rears and the front already developing some chrome bubble.

Sounds like you need to remove the chrome and polish as well. I think there is a few DIY youtube videos
