Hello everybody!

Hello there! 

Well a little bit about me... I live in northern Colorado (USA), I've done track racing and autocross for the last 3 years, and I can honestly say I have more cars than I know what to do with. My latest project is modifying my 1992 Mercedes 600sel. Yesterday I purchased a 1994 Mercedes SL74 Renntech edition (yes that is in fact a 6.0L v-12 bored and stroked to 7.4L and just under 600hp). I will be removing the engine from the SL74 and installing it in my 600sel. Basically I am building the worlds first S74. Yesterday I also ordered a set of 20x9 front and 20x10 Forgiato Fiore's (gloss black with chrome trim). I should mention that my 600sel is black on black with the grey body trim. I will post up pictures as soon as I get a chance. I am very busy with working on the 5000lb beast =) I also am going to be installing the Junction Produce 5 pc aero kit that the Russian Gentleman did on this forum last year.

Welcome aboard. Those s classes have a very intimidating presence when done up right.

Thanks guys! A few of the parts that are on their way are: window blinds for the rear windows, sheared sheepskin (to replace the floormats), Rotora 6 pot front brakes with 4 pot rears, Forgiato Fiore 20's... =)  I will also be doing 15% tint on all the windows except the front windsheild (I'll do a very light tint on it). The SL74 Renntech is on its way (got put on the truck yesterday to head my way). I am attempting to find an air suspension for the W140 as well, which is near impossible as nobody seems to make it. I will probably wind up having to custom fabricate it. :pat: I am also going to do the four seat conversion for the rear of the car. I am not sure about it though as I'll have to buy a car overseas in Japan or Europe, fly over there, remove the rear seat set-up, and ship it back with me. Huge job and with everything else going on I'm not sure if I'm up for tackling that as well.
