Upgraded door handles?

Has anyone attempted or posted upgrades on door handles from the older "lift" style to the new pull type? Any before and after pix and what did you use?

it's been done in japan, i don't think anyone here has. i think it's a good idea, i hate leaning over to lift... you can pull from the top.
